People talking about quinn “betraying” the warrior here when Quinn wasn’t working for him anymore, just the empire, and the warrior chose to side with the republic over the empire, thus Quinn’s actions in attacking were technically not a betrayal. His real betrayal was against the empire in rejoining the warrior after choosing to join forces with the republic. Would have been better for his case against being stabbed or imprisoned if he had chose to turncoat and join back with us instead of attacking
When I watch these videos and see people debate about why an inquisitor or warrior would defect to the Republic. I always saw it as this: as both, you are Acina's biggest threat to her rule. You have control of the deadliest fleet, have friends everywhere supposedly, and was a powerful sith lord before all of it. You could easily walk in, kick her off the throne, and doubtful the empire would be upset about it. I think that's why she tresspassed on Iokath without talking to you despite her having a good head for when to use diplomacy. She wanted to try and gain some power to be on equal footing with you. Essentially, you can take it as a hint that once.more sith politics were coming into play and decided to stick up the middle.to.it.all
You've just answered a question that I dared not even attempt to find out firsthand, and I thank you for it! I've been waiting for just this video to actually put my Sith Warrior through Iokath!
I play LS only, but I'm still always grossed out by Wrath siding with the Republic. It's so much against what the vanilla storyline is about, all the effort and sacrifice you made to reform the Empire... I could never force myself to do that even though the Republic is "better" in many ways. Especially with Acina being a promising leader and Vitiate's tyranny ended once and for all, when there's actual chance to make Empire into something greater. :) But also, the Jedi and the Republic bores me to death in this game. It's so much more interesting to play a honourable Sith than just being a good guy when everyone expects you to be one. I once played consular as my main, but when I reactivated him recently and started playing through KofTE... It's just not intriguing in any way, doesn't catch my imagination like the Warrior and Inquisitor do. :]
alchemik666 Light side Sith Inquisitor joining the republic actually makes sense based on the lore,Darth Imperius,a title given to the light side Sith inquisitor believes in the light side while using the dark side for power (more like a gray Jedi if you ask me).Theyre not afraid of working with the enemy (e.g the Galactic Republic) to achieve their goals of gaining power and reforming the empire by being merciful and without using needless violence (although killing hutts felt so gooood muahahahahaha)
This might be because they wanted a scene with Quinn and the warrior regardless of what you do. A lot of people want to kill him for the betrayal and have been bitching about it for 5 years. Plot wise they likely just sped up the timetable in which you confront Quinn after Acina's death (for the Republic path). At the moment my trooper will get no companions if he sides with the Republic because Elara hates him. He's LS but bombed the Spire. I think that's all you have to do.
you get him as a comp if you side with the empire or you're the SW. The only ones to have a convo like this are the trooper for Dorne or the SW for Quinn.

He was just caught between two forces and he went with Baras because he had been the winner in the past. That is until the Wrath rises to eclipse the master. Quinn's action made sense in the realm of his character. After the betrayal, Quinn worked unceasingly to rebuild trust with the Wrath. Quinn deserves the chance to be forgiven. Still, I get why all of the Quinn haters want to kill him too.

Hah so Quinn actually joins you even if you choose pub? Certainly less prickly than Dorne who will turn away not only Troopers who choose Empire but also Troopers who make DS choices.
Yeah you can get dorne even if you choose imp side as a trooper if you go to the companion locater terminal. Won't be affected by story, just for looks as always. As long as you don't bring back everyone you killed or died off first, you should be able to get her back. I was able to get Quinn on my trooper. So I assume it works the opposite.
Yeah... I mean the whole war with the Eternal Empire the Republic did nothing to endear themselves to me (As a Republic player!) and once we got to Iokath I wanted nothing more than to smack Malcom and Acina's heads together and tell them to stop being idiots, we're all being played.
Hm, I didn't know that was possible! I need to get more characters not to ally with the Empire in the earlier story so it doesn't seem so bad to side with the Pubs.
So I too sided with the republic and spared Quinn and I did not put him in prison, yet neither he nor Elara are in my companion list, could somebody explain why?
You can choose to have Quinn beg you to not kill him if you're a sith warrior if you side with the republic. You can't do that if you side with the Empire as a sith warrior. It'll just come up with an option to kill him or spare him is all. But if you want to kill him for the sake of pure satisfaction, then choose the republic. I obviously spared him but it's something to consider if you want to kill him.
@@Kravax1992 Well, with my main Warrior I joined the republic, because after all the BS he endured he was like "Kay, fuck it I give the republic a chance." There you have it. My warrior simply gave up on redeeming the empire.

I always found it interesting that the holograms look to the side when addressing each other, but on their end they're displayed in front of them

Probably a bug. Just like how T7 randomly disappeared off of my Knight's companion list after I finished Eternal Throne.
I don't trust Quinn, give him a day or 2 and he'll be betraying you to the next person in power
