when i got vibrato(blind buy) i tested and i said ok its really nice but why so much buzz..the next day (a really hot day in Athens ) i wore it and during that day i fell in love with it... extemely fresh,clean and elegant ,compliment magnet and super long lasting something pretty rare for a citrusy fragrance..😁😁😁high quality on steroids

Yes we need this series! 🙌 Too much hype going around, some opposing reviews help the viewer decide if it's worth sampling or not. I have so many disappointments with hyped frags where I feel like influencers were not being honest with giving an accurate review rather just repeating how "amazing" the smell is.. 🤷♀️
Sospiro perfumes are some of my favorite overall. Longevity, the blending of the notes…Dolce Melodia is my spring/summer bubblegum floral fruity done right. It has some airiness in it that is relaxing. I think it is the gardenia and Jasmine blend that is all pretty to my nose. Hubby loves Vibrato for summer months, but it is a predictable citrus as you say, but high quality.
I love Devotion. I really don’t like powdery florals like Flowerbomb. But my nose isn’t trained. I have the original G. You and all I smell is pepper - total opposite of what people say about it.
Well, if you need someone to take them off your hands.. feel free to send them to my 11 year old 😂😂😂 I find all my designer perfumes in HER room now that she’s interested in smelling good!! I need a safe now 😅

Have you got your nose on Vanilla powder, the newest Matiere premiere fragrance? I feel like you are going to like it, it's a sweet powdery vanilla with palo santo and a dry coconut note. It's smells like nothing on the market imo. it's so well done. I would love to hear your opinion on it. I already have 100 vanilla fragrances but I bought it immediately
For me Carmina was nice cherry smell and less rose, but then after half an hour it started leaning leathery on my skin, and it was smelling the same for hours. Divine was powdery sickly sweet and did not want to try on skin at all.

I have Creed Carmina and I pick up the cherry as the most prominent note on me for sure (and that's as a person who doesn't love a super strong rose scent). Not sure what it is in my body chemistry but it was definitely one of my favorite pickups last year :)

I love perfumes so much. So so so much. And yet, I find myself feeling totally inadequate when I watch videos of perfume connoisseurs like you because you are able to decipher notes and have such a wide range of tastes when it comes to what you like. I can't for the life of me decipher notes. I am easily triggered with headaches for a vast majority of scents. I am super super picky and always fall back on vanillas and foodie gourmands. I just feel like I'm missing out on the greater breadth of this world that I've loved and lived in for years.
Have you tried Ethereal Wave by Liis? I would love to hear your opinion on this one as I purchased Bo by Liis based on your recommendation & LOVED it immediately. 🤗
Sospiro is a great line!! I own several and they’re great on longevity and not crazy expensive. Big compliment getters too and Vibrato ALWAYS gets me compliments to the point that I’ve had people ask me to text them the scent name and brand at the store, in Uber driver and at work (I’m a tattoo artist) they’re a great brand to check out!!

The new D&G reminds me of Lira which is my absolute favorite fragrance but just a little synthetic smelling It’s nice slightly less sophisticated version is lira

Agree re Bake, it reminded me of a cross between Deep N Desire and Bianco Latte but with lemon, not grapefruit. It's the only gourmand lemon that I like, Lira and Unknown Pleasures both smell like harsh burning lemon rind on me. Are BDK planning a Creme de Cuir extrait? x
oh interesting! I'm not sure! Gris Charnel and Pas Ce Soir are some of their top sellers so I'm not surprised to see flankers, but I don't hear as much about Creme de Cuir

Love these videos! A lot of these didn’t work for me either! Vibrato was also such a let down for me. Pink me up was beautiful at first but the falls flat. I agree with Lovers feeling very scratchy. I almost blind bought that one, so glad I sampled first 😅
Refreshing honest reviews. Devotion unfortunately for me has a citronella candle/ bug spray kind of note that I can’t get past. I own glossier you and the bottle is adorable but the scent is just dry, pencil shavings or sometimes I think I’m smelling corn? I don’t know what it is but it’s not like a refreshing clean scent in my opinion. I don’t get the hysteria over it.
I really appreciated your honesty about Creed Carmina -- and this is from someone who actually purchased the 1 oz. With my first two samples I loved it, then I wasn't at all sure, then it grew on me again. Wish the dark cherry wasn't so lost in the dry down. I do get compliments whenever I wear it. A complex relationship! 😊

I tried Glossier- You today, and Juliette Has a Gun- Not a perfume. They sounded intriguing, but I was not impressed. I wanted to see what the hype was. 🤷🏼♀️ I was nose blind to 'Not a perfume.' I could only smell it on my skin. The scent kept changing. Even after I took a shower, it was still there. It was a different experience. 😂

You are right about Vibrato. I do not see the hype on that one. I just tested Camellia K with L'Interdit Rouge and very similar. Camellia K is beautiful but once it's on sale not at full price. 😂
Glossier eew 😆 hehe just my opinion. I think it def depends on chemistry. The Iris/violet is way too amped up on my skin so it smells a bit too vintage on me.
I appreciate your honest opinions on these releases. I feel the the same for most of theses. Lovers and carmina were such disappointements. Way too over priced for what they are. For me camelia K was giving a sweeter version of libre and not worth the price for me. Cherry ambition is what I was hoping carmina to be, minus the rose. I did not like devotion at all, the citrus opening smells exactly like one of my cleaning products, thank God I resisted my urge to blind buy it.
I just tried devotion yesterday and it’s a pass for me. I did love the opening but not after a half an hour when it turns into the orange blossom vanilla. I think I need to try Theodoro kalotinis lemon tart. I kind of slammed pink me up for selling the packaging. But. It is a very happy perfume and I enjoyed my sample. I would get it if it was a third of the price without hesitation. Pas ce soir og is better than the extrait to me. It’s one of those perfumes that the more I wear it the more I like it. Still in test mode on that one.
I got my hands on 2 hyped frags... This is her and ouverture. I wore one on Fri and one on Sat and both days I was chased by women and complimented. That never happens!

I wonder if the ambroxan in Rise is giving you that seaweed. Pink Me Up is fine by me because I strongly dislike most rose fragrances. Akro Bake has a soft spot. Venom Incarnate is my favorite strawberry fragrance of all time. Devotion was gifted to me by my sister. Ginger Biscuit is bae.
I like it! To me, this is a creamy, sweet, powdery, almond vanilla milkshake which some woodiness. And some chai topping. I don’t get tobacco & I don't personally pick up on the mineral notes. In the opening, it does have perhaps something slightly cold, but I don’t smell anything weird or different when it comes to that note. With all the talk about this perfume, I was expecting something super unique, which I don’t exactly think it is, but it definitely smells good :)

I have Draco but I both a 10 mil sample of Erba Pura Magica and when I was watching your video and said this smell like something I have. I thought about it and said it smells like Draco to me. I could be wrong but that’s what my nose is giving me.

I find Unknown Pleasures more interesting. It smells like toasty, warm, butterscotch crispy cookies with hot lemons, the juice and the rind. Wafflecone, loadsss of caramel, so it's sweeter than Bake, has a buttery feel, and there is earl grey tea in the opening that differentiates it. It also has much better performance, although Bake has good performance, U.P. is a bomb.
The new Creed perfume is a nice rose scent, but you can get other way better rose perfumes for half the price. I don't get the hype of the Glossier perfume at all. Like you, I can barely smell it but from what I could smell was fine but nothing special. I got a full bottle as a present and regifted it.
At 9:40 "The Perfume Guy" (Sebastian) who has a TH-cam channel also hates Mason Crivelli "Maracuja" (sp?)and I've never heard him say that he "hates" a fragrance before.. so he must really not like the fragrance. His collection is huge(4,000 bottles) and he is one of my favorite fragrance review channels. 😊 I think his might be 40,000 big becuase every videos he ever does.. he always has a full bottle in his hand, and he does videos almost daily. So.. I don't think it's 4,000 I thinks it's 40,000. He keeps them at his studio which is "office" and is seperate from his apartment.
I haven't smelled Bake but i just purchased Unknown Pleasures which is amazing. i need to love a perfume i like alot but dont love perfumes alot to make it worth adding to my collection i own rise i like it for the summer. I hated Devotion smelled so weird on me. I tried Glossier you perfume in the summer and i could hardly smell it. I love Ginger Biscuit its one of my favorite perfumes. i dont enjoy orange blosson much either now its so popular but makes me sick sometimes. Pa ce soir extrait was nice, Lovers was disgusting super screechy. i fell for the hype of pink me up i did sell it a couple months ago. eew i tried venom incarnate it smells to me like neosporin very medicinal just awful
Glossier you was a blind buy for me, after that much hype and the notes listed, I thought it was going to be my signature scent, but I was dissapointed.. to me it smells like a pencil o.o and it lasts 15 minutes on my skin

fragrance taste is so subjective so sampling first is definitely the way to go!

Glossier eew 😆 hehe just my opinion. I think it def depends on chemistry. The Iris/violet is way too amped up on my skin so it smells a bit too vintage on me.

I appreciate your honest opinions on these releases. I feel the the same for most of theses. Lovers and carmina were such disappointements. Way too over priced for what they are. For me camelia K was giving a sweeter version of libre and not worth the price for me. Cherry ambition is what I was hoping carmina to be, minus the rose. I did not like devotion at all, the citrus opening smells exactly like one of my cleaning products, thank God I resisted my urge to blind buy it.

I just tried devotion yesterday and it’s a pass for me. I did love the opening but not after a half an hour when it turns into the orange blossom vanilla. I think I need to try Theodoro kalotinis lemon tart.
I kind of slammed pink me up for selling the packaging. But. It is a very happy perfume and I enjoyed my sample. I would get it if it was a third of the price without hesitation.
Pas ce soir og is better than the extrait to me. It’s one of those perfumes that the more I wear it the more I like it. Still in test mode on that one.

I wonder if the ambroxan in Rise is giving you that seaweed. Pink Me Up is fine by me because I strongly dislike most rose fragrances. Akro Bake has a soft spot. Venom Incarnate is my favorite strawberry fragrance of all time. Devotion was gifted to me by my sister. Ginger Biscuit is bae.

I like it! To me, this is a creamy, sweet, powdery, almond vanilla milkshake which some woodiness. And some chai topping. I don’t get tobacco & I don't personally pick up on the mineral notes. In the opening, it does have perhaps something slightly cold, but I don’t smell anything weird or different when it comes to that note. With all the talk about this perfume, I was expecting something super unique, which I don’t exactly think it is, but it definitely smells good :)

I have Draco but I both a 10 mil sample of Erba Pura Magica and when I was watching your video and said this smell like something I have. I thought about it and said it smells like Draco to me. I could be wrong but that’s what my nose is giving me.

Bake has more of a punchy edge to it from the lemon zest, where Devotion is candied & sugary. They also have very different dry downs. Devotion is so sweet it has a caramel like vibe to it, and Bake has a toasted feel

Bake sounds intriguing! How does it compare to Kerosene’s “Unknown Pleasures”?
I find Unknown Pleasures more interesting. It smells like toasty, warm, butterscotch crispy cookies with hot lemons, the juice and the rind. Wafflecone, loadsss of caramel, so it's sweeter than Bake, has a buttery feel, and there is earl grey tea in the opening that differentiates it. It also has much better performance, although Bake has good performance, U.P. is a bomb.

The new Creed perfume is a nice rose scent, but you can get other way better rose perfumes for half the price.
I don't get the hype of the Glossier perfume at all. Like you, I can barely smell it but from what I could smell was fine but nothing special. I got a full bottle as a present and regifted it.

At 9:40 "The Perfume Guy" (Sebastian) who has a TH-cam channel also hates Mason Crivelli "Maracuja" (sp?)and I've never heard him say that he "hates" a fragrance before.. so he must really not like the fragrance. His collection is huge(4,000 bottles) and he is one of my favorite fragrance review channels. 😊 I think his might be 40,000 big becuase every videos he ever does.. he always has a full bottle in his hand, and he does videos almost daily. So.. I don't think it's 4,000 I thinks it's 40,000. He keeps them at his studio which is "office" and is seperate from his apartment.

I tried Glossier you perfume in the summer and i could hardly smell it. I love Ginger Biscuit its one of my favorite perfumes. i dont enjoy orange blosson much either now its so popular but makes me sick sometimes. Pa ce soir extrait was nice, Lovers was disgusting super screechy. i fell for the hype of pink me up i did sell it a couple months ago. eew i tried venom incarnate it smells to me like neosporin very medicinal just awful
Unknown Pleasures has been my favorite in this kind of lemon gourmand category :)
Room 1015 Sonic Bloom is a much nicer version of Glossier You. The house, Room 1015, has an interesting concept and website too

Glossier you was a blind buy for me, after that much hype and the notes listed, I thought it was going to be my signature scent, but I was dissapointed.. to me it smells like a pencil o.o and it lasts 15 minutes on my skin
