Hi Gemma this is what has been written to clarify the tale.. Everybody, everywhere seems to be busy. Most people are just too busy doing and trying to achieve that they do not take the necessary time to renew themselves, to learn and grow-to sharpen the “axe”.
I think Pluto in Aquarius is going to be a game changer in many ways. I’ve been feeling the energy for a while, and I’m absolutely exhausted, and I feel mixed up. Everything‘s all wonky. I think ultimately, when it settles in, it’s going to be good, but this Pluto at the very very tail end of Capricorn is such intense energy that it’s difficult. I think a lot of surprising and innovative things are going to happen with Pluto in Aquarius. I’m very crabby today and I shouldn’t be. It’s my birthday and I miss my late husband. He always had my stuffed animals write me a card and each of their signatures was unique and he would use a different color crayon for each one. I’ve been crying since last evening and I can’t stop. I’m also tired of the freezing weather and I looked out today and there’s another homeless cat, so now I’m feeding too. I don’t mind feeding them, of course, but it breaks my heart to see them out there and it’s so cold. He’s also terrified like the first one. damn! You gave me my first smile of the day, which often happens, when you were reading from the spiritual almanac, and you had to stop and say that both of those sentences started with “one day”. Sharpening the axe - for me means not doing tasks such as cleaning to the point that you’re exhausted just do a smaller amount as you will make a better job of it which will look cleaner for longer. Also make sure you have the products that do a good job (sharp axe) to make the job easier. When baking don’t hand whisk use the mixer to conserve your energy. These are very simplistic examples but resonated with me xx

It’s so funny, when you said you were a slow reader, I thought, “I am, too.” (Comprehension is good even though I’m slow.) Then you said that you read things more than once. I generally do not. The reason being is that when I read, I am so meticulous that I edit as I go, sometimes marking my books with corrections. Thanks Gemma! Today is my birthday and it seems to have got away from me too. I keep trying to relax and but end up stressing about minor things like whether or not to make plans, replying to birthday wishes, and my coffee getting cold before I can drink it 😅 It’s really silly. I think sharpening the axe might be doing stuff like exercise, meditation, sleep etc. that makes us better equipped to handle things. They take time but then save us from unnecessary frustration and senseless effort.
As a Capricorn the last 23 years have been a long time of, learning, doing, lots of falling down and climbing back up. My health has been compromised and I wonder if Pluto leaving Capricorn will shift my life. I’m really looking forward to 2024- knowing Pluto will dip back in for a bit this fall.
