I'd really like to see a live show of Mraz where people don't talk loudly during all of his quieter songs like this. Both times I have seen him, people woudn't shut the hell up.
Elise Jokell There's this one song of his where i actually like the silent chatter on the background: 'Better'. It adds to the ambiance imo. Though in general i agree, would be so great during live performances if people didn't scream like crazy.
The reason why it was so quiet for these love songs was because they were told to shut up, cause it was a live recording for the Deluxe album. But I'm sure that for the other songs that weren't recorded, there was probably significantly more chatter.
Pretty sure it's "somehow quit the pot" not quit the part. Part doesn't even remotely rhyme with lot. It wouldn't be the first pot reference from Jason Mraz... "Would it take a half a pound to roll a joint for you?"

What made me forget everything I know? All the episodes of you, especially the ones that hurt, and even the few that made me laugh - well I can't get them back. So I would like another look inside you. I would love the chance to love you, like I never knew you. If it were silent chatter it wouldn't bother me. I wish it were silent, but it's always loud chatty people right nearby :(
