My boyfriend and I had lots of ups and downs since we were 15 years old. Everybody was telling us we were too young to recognize love. Both of our parents think that-- mostly my parents. They were worried it would affect my studies and not finish college. So when this came out we related to this song and this has been our song ever since. Last year was the hardest year in our relationship. We couldn't get past a week without arguing. We were both tired of just about everything that's happening. We both forgot how to communicate. We couldn't understamd what each other was saying. He was about to go to another country for work and I believed at that time we couldn't survive the distance. We were constantly arguing when we were together, so I thought what more when we're far away from each other. We talked a few days before his flight. We gave up trying to understand the other. We were just finishing what we ordered in the cafe and I was planning to go home. I nearly finished my order when suddenly he said something under his breath "out of all the days..." I asked him "What?" And he just looked at me smiling with soft eyes saying "Nothing." After a few seconds I knew what he was talking about. On the speakers of the cafe was this song playing. And I just broke down and he started crying. We didn't care if people were staring at us. Listening to this song in that cafe at that exact moment brought up all that we've been through and how we got past all of it. After the song, we just looked at each other and decided to talk more about our problems. We talked for hours until our tears dried out. At the end of the night we decided to work things out. I believe God sent this song at that moment to give us a sign and remind us of our promise to not give up even if the skies get rough. It's our 10th anniversary today. ❤️ Years ago we planned to have our wedding today. but we couldn't due to financial reasons and also him being in another country for work. UPDATE: We now have a kid ❤️

This song was the start of my christian journey. When i was in college, I was super lonely because I had few friends on campus. I noticed this new song by Jason Mraz and listened close. Suddenly the words spoke to me as if it was a message and a single thought entered my mind “I won’t give up on you” and this overwhelming feeling hit me that caused me to break down crying. Not long after I was stopped on campus by a member of CRU. I went to their next meeting and suddenly I made friends in fellowship. I’m far from a great christian and fell from his grace multiple times but this song still shows up on my newsfeed from time to time. I never noticed the two crosses in the thumbnail until recently. God truly is amazing. If you haven’t given christianity a second thought before, please try. You will be surprised by what you find if you truly seek. His forgiveness is unbelievable. I truly believe he talks to us if we really pay attention.
Tomorrow would have been my daughter's 30th birthday. This was my song for my preemie NICU baby. Born at 31 weeks with a bowel perforation, esophageal perforation followed after failed intubation attempts. I don't think I really knew what love was until that little guy made his appearance. This song helped me through that 4 months of hearing he wasn't gonna make it home. Several surgeries, transfusions, bloodclots, meds, procedures and a few colds later, we're home and thriving and still listening ❤ this is his favourite song, always calms him down. Xo

This was my wedding song, I heard it on the radio today on our way to the mall with my wife and two kids in the back. I put up the volume and we all started to sing to the top of our lungs. This song was the start of my christian journey. When i was in college, I was super lonely because I had few friends on campus. I noticed this new song by Jason Mraz and listened close. Suddenly the words spoke to me as if it was a message and a single thought entered my mind “I won’t give up on you” and this overwhelming feeling hit me that caused me to break down crying. Not long after I was stopped on campus by a member of CRU. I went to their next meeting and suddenly I made friends in fellowship. I’m far from a great christian and fell from his grace multiple times but this song still shows up on my newsfeed from time to time. I never noticed the two crosses in the thumbnail until recently. God truly is amazing. If you haven’t given christianity a second thought before, please try. You will be surprised by what you find if you truly seek. His forgiveness is unbelievable. I truly believe he talks to us if we really pay attention.

Will bring this up to his doctor and schoolboard, as they have both misdiagnosed him and he has been repeatedly suspended from school.Whether they will take it under consideration is another matter.He is on risperdone but it's not really working, it's his 5th medication tried.

This was my song for my preemie NICU baby. Born at 31 weeks with a bowel perforation, esophageal perforation followed after failed intubation attempts. I don't think I really knew what love was until that little guy made his appearance. This song helped me through that 4 months of hearing he wasn't gonna make it home. This was my wedding song, I heard it on the radio today on our way to the mall with my wife and two kids in the back. I put up the volume and we all started to sing to the top of our lungs. My wife and I have only been married for 6 years, and we have had our tough moments, but this song reminded me that I promised to choose her everyday, every moment, no matter what! I won’t give up on us!
This song would have really helped me through nursing school. That was the hardest thing i ever done in my life. Dedicating this song to all the nursing students out there n nurses , remember dont ever give up.

You know what kinda makes me sad... knowing that eventually when we are old and we rethink out past, no one will remember these old legendary songs. All the songs now dont actually have meaning or just talk about violence. Then eventually the last legendary song from this time will be gone like it never existed.
Music like this will never die. As long as even one person remembers it will stay alive.
This song is my saving grace. There's something about it that pushes you to fight for your relationships when things get tough. It's more than just the lyrics; perhaps it's the sincerity with which Mraz performs it.
