Using a scalp massager when shampooing has really helped to exfoliate my dry and itchy scalp. i also rinse and repeat my shampoos: 2x with a sulfate free shampoo most weeks and 1x with a sulfate shampoo and 1x with a sulfate free shampoo once a month. Also, strictly sticked to washing every 7 days has helped a lot :)

My scalp used to flake soooo much and I tried various routines but what she said is what worked for me. I oil my scalp with sulfur 8 while my scalp is still wet after wash day. I even keep a spritz bottle to make sure it don’t dry during the process. I don’t think my shampoo is that moisturizing but I use Dr. Bronner’s Unscented Castile Soap and it cleans very well so I dilute it with water in one of them oil applicator bottles.

She told me to use a shampoo that didn't contain salt. I was surprised that ingredient was in there. I washed my hair last night and I just started using squalene oil on my scalp while it was still damp. So I'll see how it goes.

That is crazy because I’ve ALWAYS suffered from dry itchy scalp, and 2 weeks ago I washed and deep conditioned my hair and I realize that I was out of leave in conditioner and moisturizing cream. I got out the shower, wet hair and all, went to my closet and mixed sulfur8 and the doo gro blue oil together and oiled my scalp. My scalp did itch however like maybe 2 times and even though it still was scratching me, it reduced the itchiness so much and I will definitely try it next wash day. I was mad lazy this week so I didn’t get to put it on scalp, but that grease on your scalp after you come out the hot shower with all that steam really helped.

Hello Tonya I wash my hair with african black soap or melaluca all natural shampoo . I keep my hair from drying by using my brush with water before I oil my hair and scalp. I also use fresh aloe ( Takes away the itch also) . fenugreek and clove water ( All three for growth also) . I put clove oil into my caster oil , olive oil or coconut oil as a carrier. The clove oil takes away itchy and pain in my scalp. Sometimes my scalp feels dry but when i touch it its oily. I message every morning and night as I'm trying to achieve length in my natural hair. My hair is turning grey and the domican's told me its the grey hair that brings the itch. I had this itch before the grey hair. I'm naturally a perm junkie and have permed my hair from age 11 to 53 and currently this is my third time going natural The perm would take that deep itch and pain away . So I'm in a battle and I'm coming out transitioning .I appreciate you and all of your free info. I would like more information on starting my own products. Thank You.

I used a shampoo brush last wash day and i didnt have an itchy scalp all week. And i didnt apply oil. I think my skin gets irritated from having any kind of buildup on it

What’s a brand of shampoo or line in general for scalp acne. I just recently started getting this. I think I got it from constant wash and gos clogging my pores. I was using Wetline for the styler.

I have been using sulfur 8 light on my scalp but have noticed it tends to weigh my hair down and makes my hair cakey even when I use a little bit. Grease on my scalp always tends to make my scalp and hair feel cakey and greasy. Could anyone possibly recommend other products to use for dry scalp?

Would you suggest kinky curly come clean shampoo, maybe every 2-4 weeks? Also is it okay to mix jamaican black castor oil, olive oil and aloe vera oil to put on the scalp after spraying hair with a water/aloe vera mixture?

Please give me your opinion of Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo and Conditioner. I bought them recently because of the Tea Tree Oil for my scalp health. Your opinion?

Are you into dht blockers to help with Akooevia or thinning hair. Have you ever done a youtube about alopecia and scalp. I know that your hair follicles can always revive with using natural things.

My homemade hair oil. I use Grape seed oil(the carrier oil), rosemary, peppermint, horsetail grass, evening primrose, & lemongrass. My scalp feels moisturized & so much healthier.

My question is if moisturizing shampoos good enough to remove hair grease from the hair and scalp?
I have recently gone back into using grease, but I use regular shampoo with sulfates in it to really get rid of the grease on wash day. Then I would deep condition after the shampoo I then seal moisture in my hair and scalp with olive oil, then I apply moisturizer and then grease as a sealant? Any advice? Is this a logical moisturizing routine.

After watching your other videos I realized the type of shampoo i was using was very drying. I tried to switch it up because I can’t find it anywhere but imma have to probably order it online or something. This dry scalp is not cute lol
P.S. I really love your videos!

I would try to add oil before and my scalp would get so itchy I had to take my braids out. So I eventually stopped. I recently started it again but first with braiding spray and then putting on oil and that seemed to have helped with most itching. I’m starting to notice my scalp is getting dry in some places so I might need to try grease after my showers.
