You kinda missed the narrative of Judge Judy. After they done the phing tyler and this girl separated. Then this girl wrote him a letter. The girl probably discover that she had cancer or something close to that and started to "live right" and fight the death: "the past year has been rough. It spreaded to my head" and "if you reading this it's to late, but i just wanna say: Thank you for the moments that I grabbed before I left." The girl known that she doesn't have much time left.
