- One of the great album artists of all time, Mark Wilkinson breaks down his career working with the some of the biggest names of all time in heavy metal and prog rock. Mark has created album covers for legends like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Marillion, Fish, Peter Gabriel, James Brown, and more. He also painted all the classic Monsters of Rock posters, Star Wars posters, Judge Dredd and Red Dwarf covers and comics. Mark details his love and expertise in airbrush painting, his inspirations, and career path.

I remember visiting my sister in London as she was a trainee nurse at St Hellier's my mum put me on a train with £20 for extras and food for me and my sister. We went shopping and I brought misplaced childhood just on the strength of the album art.... Omg so glad I did. Im still a fan and when clutching at straws came out i eagerly awaited the opening of the fold outs. Listening to the music on my mono cassette player 😂😂. The art seemed to make me fall into the music more. A big thank you.😊
My fav one is the final frontier cover that will always be my fav iron maiden cover I'm not a huge maiden fan I do like some of their songs though

Pallas, not Palace. Patrick Woodroffe did the classic album cover for the Sentinel in 1983-1984.

Lots of occultism on the covers. This gentleman must be "deeply" initiated into this subject. Pyramids, one eye motif (Eye of Horus), lightning bolts (symbol of Satan), chessboard (floor from masonic temples, etc etc.
