When he correctly said "a president from the 1800's" the host immediately cut in to further press him. Pressure is a tactic that a more experienced debater can use against a less seasoned one to effectively defeat the person rather than the argument, and that's what I see here. I would agree with you about having to prove your assertions, however only in a debate setting. When you are asked your opinion (especially of a layperson) I think it is a bit unreasonable to expect a bevvy of supporting facts and figures. @@Curiouzzz750 My view is that buzz words and Gish Gallops repeated over and over will seem like argument and evidence to people who do not know the nature of argument and evidence. For just one example, angrily repeating "Russia Collusion Hoax" for years sounds convincing, but it doesn't address why more than 140 of Trump's close associates had contacts with Russian nationals, why Flynn lied about his contact, why Trump's campaign manager Paul Manafort gave internal polling data of swing states to the Russians, why the Russians first began hacking the DNC five hours after Trump requested them to do so live on television, why Trump's son had a secret meeting with a Russian national as "part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump", why they lied about the purpose of the meeting subsequently, why Trump drafted his own son's statement about the meeting to lie about it, why Trump said live on television the reason he fired Comey was because of Russia, why Trump invited Russian government officials to the White House and blurted classified information to them while telling them the he got rid of Comey because of the Russia thing, why Trump continually ignored his own intelligence agents while telling the world in Helsinki he didn't think Putin was involved because Putin said so, why Trump had a secret one-on-one meeting with Putin and then confiscated the translator's notes, etc. You will not hear any of this on Fox News at all. You will only hear "Russia Collusion Hoax" repeated ad infinitum because they know their audience just doesn't care, isn't going to bother finding out, and probably wouldn't have the ability or inclination to even skim the Mueller Report much less follow any investigative reporting in the two previous years. And if you mention any of the above to a Trump supporter, they just say "fake news"...even though virtually all of what I listed above was either done live on television, was eventually admitted to by Trump himself, those involved confessed, and/or was proven in a court of law. It's not as if a bed wetting liberal at the NYTimes made up Trump's live interviews, made Trump confess, made his associates confess or plead guilty, or had any control over how a court of law found someone guilty. Don Jr. DID have a meeting with a Russian national with documented evidence saying it was part of the Russian government's support of Trump (Mueller later suggested Don Jr. was too dumb to know that was illegal). Trump DID lie about the meeting. Trump DID craft his own son's statement to lie about it. Kislyak was being monitored by the FBI! To later spin it as "Obama was spying on my campaign" is idiotic in the extreme. If you are talking about the dossier, intelligence AT THE TIME said they already confirmed everything in it except the peeing story, so disregarded it as possible Russian disinformation. But the rest of it was already confirmed from other sources and they already knew it all. All of this is on the record. The fact that Clinton ran a bad campaign has nothing to do with it.

The caller was referring to Chester A. Arthur, an American president of the 19th century, and he was correct in saying that the location of Arthur's birth was a political issue. You see, one of the qualifications for the presidency is to be a natural born citizen, so if it could have been shown that either Arthur or Obama was not an American citizen at birth, he would have been barred from the presidency.
So what are your views ?
(And the list above only scratches the surface. The Mueller report reads like a freakin' thriller novel.)

Just look at Secular Talk or The Jimmy Dore Show break down russiagate for you, both lefties that see through the bs
@@Psyfonify Give me a break. There are dozens of objective pieces of evidence. Many, as I said, live on television. Trump confessed to some of it. His associates confessed to some of it, and pleaded guilty to some of it. Manafort DID give swing state internal polling to them.

I predict the very thing you just explained will happen when the next Drumf supporters read your comments, they will pretend its "fake" because they heard Hannity or Tucker say its "fake" thousands of times without giving any evidence or real explanation as to why its fake apart from "the fake Steel Dossier" as fox news seems to point to in every argument, even though 99% of whats in the Christopher Steel Dossier has reportedly been proven true.

@@alexdesouza9471 it’s Chester Alan Arthur, and he wasn’t a president but the Vice President for President James Garfield. The accusation was that he was not actually born in Vermont but up in Canada, but it was nothing more than slander by political rivals. It was essentially to accuse Arthur of being a subject of the British Empire because this was still a time when Americans had a bit of a mixed attitude towards the British. That being said, Obama has an American mother and was born in Hawaii, unlike some American candidates like Romney and McCain who were born outside the country to American parents. Claiming Obama isn’t really American while the other two didn’t get any looks just highlights it was racism.
