Everyone has a personal preference but I am not sure why you would put the stamp on a wooden block at all, but especially one that large. They are very cumbersome to store that way and take up so much room.
And you cannot use them with a stamping platform they are on wooden blocks. I recently spent three week converting my over 150 wooden block stamps to flat one, they took up so much less space and are so much easier to use.
Hello! Of sure - I would never use this technique on a wide scale because they are harder to store for cerain. But I keep a few of my "I use these all the time" stamps in my desk drawer and I find that they are easier to keep up with, easier to find and easier to just grab and stamp. But, you're right - this is not appropriate for a whole collection! Converting 150 wooden blocks sounds like a lot of work!!
