Add a New Domain Name to your cPanel Account (Addon Domains)

Learn how to add a new domain name to your cPanel account. Formerly called Addon Domains in cPanel. A domain which is separate to the main primary domain that has its own website and email accounts.
In cPanel go to the Domains page and Create a New Domain. You can add your new domain name on that page.
Once added the SSL certificate will be installed and you can then start creating email accounts and install WordPress for your new domain name.
The process to add a new domain to cPanel (Addon Domain):
1. Login to cPanel.
2. Go to Domains page.
3. Click Create a New Domain button.
4. Enter your new domain without the “www.”.
5. Tick off Share document root.
6. Leave Document root folder same as the domain name.
7. Leave Subdomain same as domain name.
8. Click Submit.
