Actually, as far as I know it doesn't reset the countdown. I'm not very sure but I think once my opponent generated two wheels from the prison of Yogg-saron and it worked with the first one..
what would a good sonya replacement be? I'm currently 520 dust short lol, I enjoyed the free wishing well rogue deck but ended up making a cheap spell mage (which is fine but I love how creative you can be with rogue) because wishing well felt awkward to play at times
