Your approach represents most people and how it is trying a new trail. Seems like most YT content focuses on people who are already highly skilled and leaves many intimidated so they don’t try and miss out on the fun, which is the WHOLE point of cycling, not impressing people with what they ride or skill level. Looks like a fun trail! Cuyuna has always done a great job of offering different lines on the features
Cuyuna is definitely a fun playground for mountain biking and progressing! I have come back afterwards and did do a lot better on these features. I just didn't video it since I do like to shoot trails as I am still figuring them out.
This trail takes a surprising amount of cardio to hit top to bottom, as heard in your video. Nope, was the recurring theme here…. You did great your first time down. Its a trail you’ll have to repeat to figure out the speed for everything, which Ive found is: Hit everything as fast as you can. Just found the channel, look forward to more.. Subbed.
I know! I also realized my rear tire was low on air and I think it was causing a little drag too. Went up 2 weeks after this one and it ran better but still needed more speed on some of that... Thanks for watching, dude!
Funny thing was that when I got back to my pickup, I felt my rear tire. It was almost flat, running on my tire insert! I went back this last Sunday and ended up clearing everything haha super fun trail and relatively easy to lap!

It look small on video but it's a different story in person
Cool jump trail. Looks like a good workout to hit them at speed consistently.
Yeah, this one had a great mix of things to hit. I only wish it was closer to home!
Hitting this trail after 6 hrs of riding other trails was a mistake for me 😂
100%! There is a lot of pedaling to clear everything haha
Lol. "Nope".
Trail is still new and running slow. Next time!

Thanks for the instructional video on how NOT to ride a great trail. 👎🏻👎🏻
You're so welcome, little guy!
