    As a bit of update : Hamo and Iho Tewoo beach had signs everywhere saying camping was not allowed. Hamo beach didn't have bathrooms anymore! Sinyang Seopjikoji beach was great.
    Currently, there are no ferry from Busan to Jeju. A few options shown in the video didn't exist anymore, so tourist... good luck!

      @daphneed4920 wow thank you so much for this update! I pinned it for others to see as well. That's too bad that Tewoo beach doesn't allow camping anymore. Korea has really cracked down on free camping since the pandemic when we made this video, so I think there's a good chance that a lot of the other beaches have changed as well unfortunately.

    Its insane how informative and useful all of your videos are. Its so difficult finding information about korea (in english) that is related to hiking biking and other outdoor activities

    • @lostthenfound
      @lostthenfound  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm glad we could help spread a bit of information out there! Haha you're right about that too that I don't think the average person travels to Korea for outdoor activities but it's pretty underrated in my opinion with just how easy it is to get around and especially how safe it is!

    Very useful information! We are coming to Korea in 2024 for a few weeks (one of which I’ll be cycling down the east coast). This time we are going to take a few days in Jeju. Your tips and advice are going to come in REAL handy!

      @@lostthenfound - First time down the east coast! The only downside is that we are going to be there in the dead of summer. No choice. But I think (hope🤞🏼) it will be a little cooler than the Seoul to Busan ride I did a couple summers ago 🥵!!
      Would love to meet up with you guys if possible…

    Hi. Thanks for your informative video about jeju! Im planning to camp alone on budget! And your TH-cam video was on perfect timing. Im about t ask if it is possible to bring a pop up tent together with you handcarey bagage? Thanks.

    • @lostthenfound
      @lostthenfound  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ginabing_Kokey! I'm really happy that the information was helpful! You will have such a great time camping in Jeju. What time are you planning on going?
      It's 100% okay to bring a tent as carry on, but if you have tent spikes they will make you check them in (for free). You just have to go to the check in desk and show them your tent spikes and they will put them in an envelope for you and you can pick them up at the baggage carousel at the arriving airport.

    Hi there.. Thank you for sharing the video on jeju. Am planning for a trip to jeju in October. Just wondering is the jeju a kids friendly place? and do you need to have lots of cash on hand while traveling around or do they accept foreign credit cards (as long its visa or master) Thank you

    • @lostthenfound
      @lostthenfound  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi there Louis Chia! Jeju is definitely a kids friendly place and there are a ton of museums/small theme parks tailored for kids. As far as cash goes, they will accept international credit cards basically everywhere so you won't need to worry about carrying a lot of cash.

    Can you explain a bit how the buses work please? Which door to get on/off, how to calculate fare etc

    • @lostthenfound
      @lostthenfound  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Of course! I'll sticky this post so others can see too. You get on the bus next to the driver, and get off the bus near the mid/back door. You can use a T Money card (which can be purchased and topped off at any convenience store) to scan as you get on/off. The regular buses in Jeju (201 and 202 bus that go around the East/West Coast) are 1,150 KRW regardless of distance. It seems like only the express buses go up from an initial fare of 2,000 KRW for the first 20km, and increases by 500 KRW for every 5km afterwards until a maximum of 4,000 KRW (I think I said 3,000 KRW in the video by mistake).

    • @famichiki_jp
      @famichiki_jp 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lostthenfound Is that the common procedure throughout Korea, or does it vary by bus company? The T Money card sounds much better than dealing with cash.

    Hey! Super video! Can you tell me if it is possible to park at the camping places. I don't have a tent and think about renting a car and sleep inside. What do you think about that? Have you seen people doing that? :)

    • @lostthenfound
      @lostthenfound  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there @alygany7546 thanks a lot! Most of the beaches that have camping also have parking lots, but I'd really recommend getting there as early as possible on a weekday if possible to get your spot. I think you also could find some more private spots around the island not at the main beaches to park at that have some really good scenery as well!

    Awesome! Thank you for making this video, great job very helpful! 👍👍 Q: Is my drivers/motorcycle license honored at the Rental company or do i need to obtain an international license?

    • @lostthenfound
      @lostthenfound  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks a lot Jason2Wheels! 😁 You need either a Korean license, which is exchangeable for your home country's license if you live here, or if you are traveling then you need to get an international driver's permit.

    Which direction (CW/CCW) is better cycling round the island?

    • @lostthenfound
      @lostthenfound  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Most people go CCW because you are always on the edge of the coast so it makes for the most scenic ride! We didn't see anybody going the opposite direction while cycling Jeju.
