That being said, that could revert back to season 2(?) where after Deku encountered Shigaraki at the mall, and when he got picked up from the police station. He did ask All Might, “was there anyone that you couldn’t save?” And All Might replied, “yes. There could be someone anywhere in the world in trouble right now, calling my name, but I have no way on knowing who or where they are.”
The weirdest part about this for me is that Hawks’s father could’ve easily been charged with domestic violence when he was arrested... by another domestic abuser. Irony at its finest honestly.
Glad to see love for Wash! Not shown in the series, but his bubbles are strong enough to lift multiple hospital beds - I believe he lifted a bunch of people during the hospital evacuation and saved them from Shigaraki's decay.
The fact that this is a Todoroki episode and it's 70% Hawks is... correct. It's also why Hawks was on the Todoroki wall in the Shout Baby ending long ago. I like to joke he married into the family because one time they released official jewelry merch of the characters, and Hawks had a gold ring that was Endeavor-centric, so we called it their "wedding ring".
Early in the series they reveal the Commission took Hawks in because Hawks saved a BUNCH of people from an enormous pileup involving a truck, with just his feathers. Despite only being a small child, he was able to use his feathers to pull multiple people from the wreckage.

There has to be some level of irony to the fact that Endeavor both indirectly saved Hawks and also created a child who almost burned him alive

Wasn't it kind of a rumor or something that Dabi could have been in the commission for a short time
it was theory that dabi and hawks were in the commission together when they were younger
