Fliss and Roly - I'm in tears now. His reaction to the new bike was unexpected and deeply emotional. What a fabulous brother and sister relationship. You can tell what good people they both are. I hope they are both still here, happy and healthy.
Remember seeing the violin 🎻 episode when it aired years ago , made me cry then too , how that must have felt to sit there listening to music played by your own handmade instruments
Start at 33.30 for the violins ... watch it all, obviously, because it's amazing ... but if you're here for that, like I am ... 33m30s is when to start! Good luck getting through it without tears!
Folk seem to give Noel a bad rep-iv never understood that, the guy in my opinion is first class. Noels house party was Brilliant and when on radio 1 all those yrs ago perfection, a Legend of TV and Radio--a great bloke.
Bloody hell - it gets better. Arthur Kanube. Phew...I watched the Christmas Presents until I was old enough to go for a Xmas booze-up with my Dad, so I missed some of these. Noel was perfect for this kind of thing as he seemed emotionally involved, and he seemed to genuinely be emotionally involved with and enjoy the outcome, unlike the likes of Cilla Black and Barrymore.
We need a Noel again! 2020 a bloody nightmare!

My absolute favourite! The sheer joy on his face was a delight to behold. I've never forgotten it and it is wonderful to see it again.
The Brother/Sister.bike one is one ive always remembered...tons of love there...so sweet...Made me howl at the time x
Used to love watching these programme’s, spent the whole time in tears.
they don't make them like that anymore pure class .
Some lovely memories. 😊 There was never a dry eye in our house on Christmas Day when Noel’s Christmas Presents was on Tv. 😊
I cried 1995 and I cried in 2023
Madge!!!! The best present ever. She was such a character and the ‘I know a man who can’ idea was sheer genius.
I'd love to see more of the old boy who wanted to fly a Spitfire or Hurricane again. That would be perfect.
Does anyone have this footage?
come back noel we need you
we really do
