I remember this one so well. We were sobbing throughout but it was Arthur’s story that got to us the most. After the show, when they announced that he had since passed away, we lost the plot. What a dear man and what a story.
I liked the last part especially Roy when he saw his brother for the first time in 84 he had tears of joy I have a cousin who lives in Australia with her husband and their 1 year old boy Theo
The last part with the four people who haven’t seen their relatives for so many years was moving especially Roy who saw his brother for the first time in 84 years you could see he was emotional seeing his brother for the first time and was happy
They should bring this show back, used to love watching this on Christmas day, yeah sky brought it back years later but they just had to change the format & bring in a studio audience, sky ruined it, they should have just stuck with the original bbc format.

I don't know why BBC dropped it. It's an inoffensive TV show.
