Had to double check the date, make sure this wasn't an old video from Apr 1 that showed up on my feed. Excited that you guys are branching out and diversifying but same time, the builds were what drew me to your channel. Really hope the builds keep coming as I enjoy watching you guys and you've inspired me to try new things on my shop build (little 20x30) and up my game on finishing work.
The builds is their primary focus, this equipment enables them to excavate, drill, prep, etc. and makes an appearance in almost all of their 'start of build' videos. You are right, I would not be interested in seeing videos of them playing in dirt everyday, but as a one off it's nice to see them having fun -- also Kabota makes great machines!
Good click bait long time following and I started out in just concrete and dirt work honestly imo best thing you can do is add more equipment cause there is a use for it all the way through turn key
You could build a machine wash pit at your RRHQ. I did one for a dirt bike race shop. I dug a pit two feet deep and added a drain pipe to lower ground. We did the bottom 6" in packed road base, then a 6" layer or drain rock then topped with river rock. Add in a hose connection for a pressure washer and you're golden.

I have that dream of moving dirt on my farm. Actually thinking of getting the 35 or 42 excavator, only need a mid size unit. Cleaning out ditches, moving logs for my sawmill, and generally moving dirt. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the new equipment
Look forward to seeing you do more equipment/dirt work content. I know you’ll get better with the excavator as you use it but make a point to use the foot pedals for steering, once you get used to it you will be glad you made the effort to learn to use them and efficiency will be much greater.
A tip for keeping grade, put you stick at 90 degrees and have the bottom of the bucket at 90 degrees to the stick so it’ll be flat to the ground, then do a stroke digging without moving the bucket, just the boom and stick, it makes it a lot easier
