dude that doesn't sound good at all and what you say doesn't make it better. I have heard of a lot of racism and Alienation in Japan. but you are right. Inconvenience makes for a better life
My son, deprive not the poor of his living, and do not keep needy eyes waiting. Do not grieve the one who is hungry, nor anger a man in want. Do not add to the troubles of an angry mind, nor delay your gift to a beggar. Do not reject an afflicted suppliant, nor turn your face away from the poor. Do not avert your eye from the needy, nor give a man occasion to curse you; for if in bitterness of soul he calls down a curse upon you, his Creator will hear his prayer. - Sirach 4:1-6
I missed your articles.Japan and Asians in general need to change their attitude about others. They tend to coalesce on their race.No wonder you miss the African warmth and friendliness.Welcome back.
@@theboredprogrammer1114i don't think it's about christianity, but rather if the local religion places an emphasis on good works. Taiwanese Buddhism does this, for example, even as Japanese Buddhism does not.
Give alms from your possessions to all who live uprightly, and do not let your eye begrudge the gift when you make it. Do not turn your face away from any poor man, and the face of God will not be turned away from you. - Tobit 4:7
I live in Canada and made it my mission to know most of my neighbors, and suddenly the world opens up,.....

I don't think we Filipinos are this cold. Maybe being predominantly Christian plays a factor.
