Great video, has an addition and a patio with walls all done with different batches, at different times going to need a lot of fog coat. Thanks for the video!
A better way to do it .is get a sack of Stucco box and base soup it up and run it through a hand Hopper gun with compressor gives it more body looks a lot better!
You should never use pressure on the side of the house. We like to use a method called softwashing and yes that algae should be taken off before applying anything to cover it instead.
Good video, I've never heard of this. Looks like the homeowner consistently washed their concrete which caused this in the first place. Why not power wash and repaint? The entire house needs painted anyways. Looks much better though.
Would it work to mix it thicker and then roll it on? I would think that it would cover any hair line cracks that way. Also, would fogging cover any cracks filled with caulk?
I believe the fog coat is intended for light painting applications in order for better color blending. I would suggest to seal cracks and paint the repaired areas with a similar color before hand. This way when the fog coat is applied its applied evenly to all areas with a gradual blending.
please name the materials please, all i can tell is just water and some sand (yellow powder). I have an old stucco house, dirty outside but awesome inside. I tried to get rid of the grease bottom and have my house fog coat like your video Best, Damien

Color blending!
Should have power washed before , all dust did come off man
I think that if you lite power washed first it will be even better
I agree. just make sure wall is dry when spraying fog coat.
Softwash is what you want to do, not power wash you will damage the wall.
