In reality it’s doubtful any of the grunts took this seriously but the top brass were typically clueless and especially humorless and felt the boys needed a reminder not to eat the C4, seeing the rumor as a genuine danger instead of something you say to fuck with the FNGs.

Edit: it actualy does, but the specific rocket propelled grenade launcher he referred to (RPG-7) had the acronym RPG meaning ruchnoy protivotankovy granatomyot, which translates to hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher Also those RPG animations are on point

Remembered playing this version of the mod and had honestly no idea what I was getting into as well. It felt really surreal seeing very quality stuff in a mod yet at the same time seeing so many bad things with the ai pathfinding and the recoiless shooting and the humor as well. Horror, action and comedy in a the Vietnam war. I love it. Also I got sick from playing it because some of the zombies are really disturbing...

Sad fact: The explosive dog are actually real,dogs were given bomb vests what fit on them,then they go near enemies and the owner explodes the bomb,they were also used in world war 2 where they also used bomb dogs,but it seemed unsucessfull due to the dogs being to scared of tanks because the dogs then were commanded to go under tanks and explode.
The last levels are where this mod is such a tremendous letdown as compared to the original. It neuters or omits so much of the classic humor, mechanics, story, and even entire sequences of levels that makes the original such a classic. It's truly a shame what they did with this thing. The original remains a classic and this one is a mess.

There is a warning label on claymores that says do not ingest, so maybe somebody at one time consumed the explosives in a claymore.
