Breathtaking! Hard to believe that all this beauty takes a month journey on a boat just to end up decorating people' s palaces! But no doubt the true artist is "Il Capo"!!!
Interesting view of modern Marble Quarrying . Marble is one of the most beautiful building stones . What your seeing here isn't as roughshod as it looks , the Capo or the Head . Who you see directing with hand singles , it actually an artist , who is handling the beginning phase of some shape , that this beautiful stone will later take . Excellent video . I could smell the sweat . Fronzi Approved .
I hope I'm not the only one here who sees the last guy between the excavators as a maestro. I've done backhoe/excavator spotting for more than ten years - hand signals are your lifeline when around this shit. This guy is bad ass.
I was sent her by the man who built the best spaceship ever. it was so fast it went all the way over to the cowboy dimension and back to earth, it is truly amazing.
Nice to see this.. So many hard work is putting in to this for our bathrooms etc I haven t talkt about distroying nature to get what we want. People should thing about it that what we get from nature is rare and beautiful. Would you believe that i found lots of beautiful marble in dumps and containers? What a shame!
Can't see any actual comments any more. Just satire shitty ironic crap that's so overdone now it's lost it's point. Can you guys please just stop posting for that slightly satisfying feeling and go do something with that spare time?
Éric Scion There's discussion to be had in youtube comments, they can be useful you know... I don't post complaining about these people on every viral video so you can stop suggesting I might be hypocritical.
The most popular ones... Yes and there's fucking hundreds of popular video's that get posted daily and now something that was once useful (and it'd be stupid to think otherwise just because it's youtube) is now just baiting rehashed comments. There's nothing good about it so stop acting in defence.
Éric Scion They aren't all from reddit you know, nothing has to be posted to r/Videos for it to get attention. I see plenty of video's daily that aren't front page that attract the same people and I say hundreds because yes there are hundreds of videos that gain huge popularity daily and if you think that reddit is the sole reason why then you're pretty "dense". When half the comments on a video are the same, what's the point in commenting... It's a swarm of shit and the whole idea that people who respond seriously as a good aspect is a fucking joke. The fact that that's the sole reason for baiting shows that it's just ruining the section even more.
Wow, truly an amazing video. The way they harvest this metamorphosed limestone is absolutely breathtaking. And the sheer amount of effort that half naked Italian man is making is one of a kind. Yuri Ancarani has really captured the beauty of a marble quarry! Tis' a shame this video will never surpass the greatness of MLP. One can not comprehend, the sheer amount of perfection that goes into each MLP episode. I've come from a man who made a giant explosion that launched a pod to the edge of the universe, shook hands with the cowboy dimension, and came back (Without using a parachute) in the blink of an eye. It also looked like a slinky. (Cool vid by the way!)
This dust is addictive, once you breathe in, you can never stop working with it. No material is a substitute for natural stone. It happens only once...
Ive been operating excavators and cranes for a long, long time. I have never needed this much hand signaling on the job. Unless we were hoisting a heavy load, it is not necessary. Seems they are taking unnecessary risks having him stand in the middle of all of that.
The aesthetic of this entire film is insanely satisfying
I think the sound also really makes the video
Alec Gugel Stunningly beautiful in a short amount of time on a topic so simple.
Beautiful indeed
Amazing. I've never seen marble quarrying on this scale before. This guy is a maestro.
The second half of the video, the man is like a conductor leading a symphony.
Should have been called "The Conductor"! Brilliant.
i agree.
Incredible how rock can be so pristine.
this is beautiful. that man is like a conductor at an orchestra.
I wish we were all determined to let each-other do the kind of work that it feels like a privilege to see.
I attended a workshop held by Yuri Ancarani, the author of this film, when I was studying at the academy of fine arts. Great times
Breathtaking! Hard to believe that all this beauty takes a month journey on a boat just to end up decorating people' s palaces! But no doubt the true artist is "Il Capo"!!!
That last shot... so majestic...
i like how the excavator is missing the same digits as the chief.
I just want to say that was beautiful!
Marble looks great
This is my favorite video on TH-cam
One of our favorite videos on TH-cam. Maestro!
wow that marble looks so beautiful. watching it fall kinda gave me a sad feeling for some reason though.
Marble....metamorphosed Limestone. Beautiful to watch.
FEDORA IS LOVE, FEDORA IS LIFE.
Wow, like a conductor. Thanks for the vid
Strangely captivating
This was amazing to watch!
dunno why but I find this very soothing

That was entertaining. I hope the filmmakers make a sequel or part two.
Wow. This is really beautiful, in a kind of unexpected way.
Mesmerizing!
Beautiful.
WOW, that's awesome!
This is weirdly soothing...

All that beautiful marble! (... heart, be still...)
Só beautiful!
I first saw the opening of this while tripping balls. Funny to see where this came from
Off the air is so awesome
Que gran trabajo el de estos hombres de cantera.

I don't know why i watching this clip but i just feel kinda enjoy it..
I was sent by the best aerospace engineer ever. Ignore the manifestos of all the dead people.
Hey, Jesus! What's heaven like?
Jesus, I didn't know you were a procrastinator!
HOLY SHIT
iHasTheGames Well, he did say he'd be back and it's been, oh, a bit over 2000 years now.
Iliq Vasilev So, beautiful but unattainable?
COMEBACKS FOR DAYS, BBBBBOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Good job
That man is a true rock bender
Epic!
NEVER get in the way of an Italians love for
1. History
2. Food
3. Marble
4. Cement
and they LOVE all four immensely
Brilliant
What do they do with those huge blocks after they fall? How do they move them around?
They get cut into smaller blocks. The massive ones are cut down just to make it easier to cut smaller ones from it. 😺
Wow that's a pretty cool job!
Wow! How good must be the guy who DIDN'T lose his finger tips.
The Marble Maestro :)
Nice to see this..

What a shame!
Sadly there has always been a shortage of people like Michaelangelo and Giovanni Strazza to release the desired object from the block.
Did anyone else notice that the last clip is in an episode of Off the Air? I think the episode is work.
Where can I watch the full film?
He's conducting an orchestra!
Somebody make an awesome video with visual effects and a orchestra playing behind him please.
wow
カッコいいー!!!
How do they get the marble to become cubed again after it is broken up like this
It's magneto!
The channel advertisement and link to other video over the last 20 seconds of the video ruins the aesthetic. It takes away from the entire film.
Pretty awesome cinematography
that's a lot of marble, no wonder SO MUCH of it was used since ancient time.
God I love marble.
Any estimation on weight of one of these?
humanity is pretty fucking cool sometimes.
Gee, I knew Italians were good at working with cement, but I didn't know they were this good with marble too.
1:50 He is a conductor of marble quarry.
next week: el chapo, a striking look at cocaine quarrying in the mexican sierra.
Colombia, not Mexico. It would star cameo appearances by DEA and CIA agents providing commentary and assistance.
Judging by his movements, he is conducting an Orchestra.
It seems they are playing Hard Rock today.
Haha That is a marbleous joke
Someone needs to introduce them to closed circuit video.

You are the dense one for believing what you've just wrote. You've obviously not been reading the comments over the past year.
Regardless let's end this useless barking.
how can anyone in their right mind renovate with granite when there's Italian marble?
Price
I wrote that? 5 years ago? I can be such a dick.
If you lose fingers, you become the hand signals guy
In marble quarries they're all like "fuck safety standards!"
More like "the composer" that's awesome
Marble. Limestone that has been cooked underground.

Touch grass
The title of this impressive video is misleading, the Italian Alps are in the northern border Region, whereas the Apuan Alps are in Tuscany.
Is the mic in his shoe or something??
What I find strangest about these reddit comments is that no one on reddit talks like this over there anymore...
after reading the comments, i just feel bad that i'm not pissed as well XD

A man who murdered a slinky brought me here...
a striking look at blue cheese quarrying in the Italian Alps
Italian silent for 3 whole minutes while instructing people? Impossible.
he's good with his finger gestures... now what i'm saying?
