- WELCOME TO MY WORLD.
In this episode we find out the hard way that some printers can not be turned into Sublimation printers. We tried both Canon & Epson with very different results. From set up to printing come & see the results.
OMG!!! My daughter n I just both learned a valuable lesson tonight ourselves with the Canon printer n just ordered an Epson. We (thankfully) ordered from Amazon so the Canon is going back!!! Wish I found ur video first!!! Thank you!!
Aww thank you so much Danielle. Glad we could be of help 🥰 xXx
Thank you so much for saving me from making the same mistake just got a canon was about to convert it to sublimation and found your video now im returning it and getting a Epson
Thank you I am so glad you found the video useful. It is a lot of money to spend for it not to do what u need it too xXx
Long story short, canon printer failed to print using sublimation ink but Epson did the job well.
Spoiler Alert 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you 😂😅 answers not fluff
I use an epson and it works perfectly. I ran out of sublimation paper in the middle of an order and I tried regular printer paper and it what just as well on the tumblers that I was making. I was very surprised that my tumblers were just as clear and vibrant using the plain printer paper. ❤I love you video and have subscribed to your channel.
Thank you Cora that is very kind of you to say. Thanks for the subscribe. Ooh very interesting with the paper, I will definitely be giving that a go. It would save quite a bit of money 🤔 xXx
My Epson is transferring really light, I don't know what the problem is. I just got it like two weeks ago 🤔
Thank you very much for this video 😢i already bought the canon 😢😢and epson is a bit expensive
@imax2260 Fingers crossed you don't have the same problems as us 🤞🏾
i got the epson et 2800 and since day one it been giving me noting but problems, with clogs.
Oh no that's not good. We really rate the Epson printers we have never had any problems with them xXx
Do you know if the cannon g6020 compatible with sublimation paper
@basegod6467 Hi. I am not to sure about that printer sorry. If the printer takes sublimination ink though I would imagine it should take the sublimination paper. But if it is normal ink it might just not print correctly and not transfer to an item if u regular ink. You could always try and put sublimation ink in the printer like we did. But beware of what could happen. But we did turn an epson which now is my regular sublimination printer with sublimination paper. Good luck and let me know how u get on xXx
Thanks for the video I just bought the cannon an was gonna convert it but i 2 am gonna go with the epson
Thank you, they are expensive to buy. I'm glad we could help xXx
When your looking for pictures. You look for a HIGH dpi. Anything above 300 is good. Anything below will be grainy. It's the pixel in it. Anyhow hopefully that will help you. On you wonderful journey.
Thanks Rose thats very kind. I Will bare that in mind. Sorry for the late response. I get there eventually 😁 xXx
I love how y’all both needed a drink after dealing with it 😅 we’ve all been there 😂
🤣🤣
change your ICC and cannon will get same exact results.
How
Howwww????
What is ICC??
And you can go even deeper into the ucr and increase those values. But noobs 😅
Hello... I have the G7020 but am def a noob. Do I install the head cartridges that came in the box?
I wish you guys shared links in the description to the supplies you used in the video.
Thanks for the Feedback. I will try to remember for future 😘 xXx
Information 👍🏿 is great Cheers
Thank you that is very kind xXx
What a shame I really feel it for you, I've just bought the wrong printer and am waiting on a refund to clear and have been looking at the cannon today as is a little cheaper, you have saved me big time, I'd originally bought a refurb Epsom but realised it needed to be new so will definatley just buy the new Epsom after seeing this 🥰 haha trying not to want a mug press now 🤣
Glad I could help xXx
Oh you should definitely buy a mug press. I absolutely love mine. Its strange as I used to make vinyl cut ones which are lovely but the hand washing needs figuring out more so they dont last as long if people are not careful. But this takes mug making to a whole new level. I love that my mugs are now microwave and dishwasher safe. You should do it 😆
THANK YOU for saving me money cause i was wondering
For normal printing and photo printing with original ink, which one have better and clear quality print canon or Epson??
Hi Prashant, I would personally use Epson for normal printing, I am not that familiar with Cannon, But i have always used Epson. Sorry hope this helps xXx
Canon is way better devices.
Saved me too thanks for the video
Which epson is this?
Hi Angel. Sorry late reply. It is an Epson ET - 2826. Hope this helps xXx
Did u guys have to put in the cartridge it came with?
Hi Ryan. Sorry your question is not clear. The printers do not come with cartridges they are Eco tanks. So u just pour in the ink. They did both come with print heads which we had to insert. Hope this helps xXx
Did the printer come with two print heads?
Lol this does it with epson aswel. Mine just done it. Use software to unnlock and put your own pads in. You can make them.
@@ryanprince260 Hi Ryan sorry for late response. Yes it came with 2. A Black and coloured
