Brinner: A Conversation on the Role of Social Media in Journalism

  • As a new semester began at the University of Kansas, KU Students were invited to join the Dole Institute Student Advisory Board for Brinner (Breakfast for Dinner) at the Dole Institute in late January. Student Advisory Board Coordinator Kenna McNally was joined by journalists Lauren Green of the National Journal and Paul Haven of the Associated Press to discuss how journalists use social media to communicate effectively and share fact-based information with younger audiences in an online media environment full of mis- and disinformation.
