Haha, So good. This was an Australian Macca's (Aussie slang for McDonalds) invention. We've had it for almost a year now. But there is such a big difference between ours and the one you just visited. The experience is slightly more fancy here.

Every time I go to McDonald's the food smells great, it tastes mediocre, and I feel horrible afterwards. Then they cycle repeats the next week.

You can find a reasonably good tasting fast food meal if you want but that does take some effort. On the other hand, I guess if you have to put that much effort into finding a healthy fast food meal or a well prepared, good tasting fast food meal it kind of ceases to be fast food. Look at the big mac index (2016). It's not that big of a difference. But, the difference is not because of the size of populations, but because there's a difference in consumers' needs, budgets, values, culture etc between the two countries.

Why does McDonalds in most of America not serve their burgers like this? Most of the time, it looks like someone sat on it.
Cause it's a fast food place, they need to maker burning fast as they can. And that McDonald's they take their time and plus they have no staff.
I work at one in the Midwest and all the managers claim that this style of sit down eating will soon be all around the U.S
Mcdonalds has tons of staff.. I work at one of four mcdonalds in a city of 80,000 and we have 100+ employees
They're slowly rolling these order things out to Mcdonald's that can handle them. One near me in Ontario just got one, but if you ordered that crazy burger he did, it would be a more than double $12.
