Wow, I am too old, bad knees, and with no balance anymore to fish place like that. I wish I could. I don't know if I would be brave enough even when I was younger LOL. Cool spot though. Thanks for the video I enjoyed watching it. Fish On !!!
@squamishfish Hope you still get out to easier access areas still. I will be going to the coast in the morning and try some Olympic Peninsula Rivers depending on the water level in the morning. Dropping little by little and should be fishable by morning. Fish On from your neighbors down in Washington 👋👋🤘🏻🎣
@@raybaby Awsome I grew up on Vancouver Island back in the 70 s and 80s did tones of steel heading , I believe the rivers on the island are very similar to the Olympic Peninsula range rivers , , Now im in Vancouver I do Coho , Sockeye , pinks and the Trouts , there is no way I can chase steelhead and springs up and down the rivers now , Thanks
@squamishfish Wow that must have been awesome. I have never fished the rivers on the island, however just what I saw driving and fly in trips to lakes along with resorts had me dreaming to fish the rivers there. Life provides many paths and challenges so I was never able to return to give it a go. I hope to head north for an extended trip to spend a month just going place to place next summer fishing remote places that I can get fairly close with trails that are not too steep. I love small stream Trout fishing in the summer with UL tackle.
@@raybaby if you ever get on the island Two rivers of note the Cowichan which has all the Salmon species , Steelhead and Brown Trout , The Gold river further up the island is all wild Steelhead No Hatchery there is also many other rivers to look up , Some of the lakes have huge Cutthroat’s , Also up Northern BC of Course are the Skeena , Bulkly , and other world class Steel head rivers , , Around Vancouve4 of course is the Fraser with all the salmons , Bull Trout , Dollys and Sturgeon because the Fraser is not damned it produces some of the biggest Sturgeons around ,
When ur line gets messed up hook the jig in the bobber and let the current take it down then run it through your fingers reeling in to take out the twists
I've fished every spot on this video, would like to go back thirty years and fish it the new bobber technology!!!
Thanks again brother.
Always good to see you guys
Right on Charles! See you in the woods or on the river one of these days.
Great looking runs and the color is perfect! Bobber down, fish on Bro!

Wow that’s some beautiful water!!!
OOOooo. Quite a trek down to that spot in NorCal? /wink. I had my first ever steelhead limit fishing that first spot.
have you tried plunking at that location? looks like it would be decent.
is this the vedder river in BC?
Ok brother. How do I check out your jigs. Would much rather send my money to a local then to send my money to another bigger company. Thank you sir
Bros jigs Facebook page
We have a one limit Hatchery Steelhead in British Columbia a day , then 10 a year but we have to record each catch
It's two hatchery a day here, but they don't drop them up river anymore, so to catch them is pretty rare.
Picturesque run right there
Deep, difficult canyon water
