    Great video, thanks and really informative. I'm in the UK and had been considering buying one of these, until I heard Mitsubishi were pulling out of the UK and Europe. The car is still a possibility, in the mix, although that news dropped it down my list. In Oz, what's your experience of how reliable the PS is? Mitsubishi as a brand aren't scoring so high on reliability index here, but maybe this model (like the Triton/L220) is better?
    Anyway, I'm impressed that the PS doesn't seem to have any overly complicated servicing needs, unlike the Subaru Outback /Forester I'm also considering.

    • @T.A.G
      @T.A.G  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The PS here is honestly.one of the most reliable 4x4 wagon available for its size and price bracket. We get significantly hotter weather here and that seems to be one issue when towing large loads is temps, they don't have dpf and injector issues like some other brands, that being said they do still have a few issues. Boost pipes can split, and dog sensor 3 can fault but they're usually covered by warranty even out side of warranty :)

    • @PleiadesOfBirdham
      @PleiadesOfBirdham ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nice Vid thanks Rohan. Mitsu have actually done well historically in some of the UK reliability surveys. For example from being just over middle in the reliability tables a few years ago they improved in 2021 to 7th place as a brand out of 30 manufacturers - What Car Reliability survey of 16,328 owners, 2021. That put them above Mazda, Skoda, Honda, Tesla, Audi BMW and so on. Not enough stats for the Sport but the little Eclipse Cross scored 100% for reliability - none of those surveyed had a fault. I bought a new Sport and its great if you need 4x4, low range etc - a fantastic value wagon. Only issue on mine is the crap Electric Handbrake - otherwise perfect.

    I just got my car serviced, literally 3 days later I get the DPF service required light on dash and yes the oil is at the X on dipstick. Back to service centre to drain and re do the oil. Does this sound right? Did a random DPF burn 3 days after service? PS great vid

    • @T.A.G
      @T.A.G  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it's at the X on the dipstick then they have overfilled it.
      But there is no level sensor so that doesn't cause the DPF error.
      It's likely you have a split intercooler hose or dodgey 3rd sensor. Check my video on the intercooler hoses as to how to check them :)

      Thanks for the quick response, I overfilled it today, I had not much to do and the next service is not due until September, so I decided to change the oil and the filter,as there is a special on oil at the local shop. I normally take it to the shop for service, but could not resist the discount on 15W-40. I was planning to try a syringe and hose through the dipstick tube.
