What did you think of the final Coke commercial? Do you think you’d have guessed it was shot on a phone if you hadn’t seen the BTS? Let me know below! 👇
Where have you been all of my life??!!!! 🤩 I’m watching all your vids back to back!!!! You are amazingly creative and the way you share your knowledge is just so much fun to watch & learn! 😎♥️
Love your enthusiasm for creating! I’m happy to help and thrilled you found this channel. Dive into my video archive, and you’ll pick up all the skills you need to shoot professional-quality videos.
Thanks @rankingacademy I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Shooting a food video sounds like a lot of fun, and I’ve got a lot some creative ideas for it! Stay tuned - Hopefully I’ll be exploring that soon.
@@LearnOnlineVideoaround a minute into this video I thought the same re food, as cooking is a passion of mine, and as much as I try to take decent photos/videos of my creations, they never "pop". I guess it's because in the main you have to do top down recording. Or do you?
NO! I would not have guessed that this video was filmed at home with a smartphone. What a superb video tutorial Steve! It really is so very interesting to see how the individual creativity of a person is what makes an entertaining/interesting/intriguing video. You really do make everything you do look so simple and I thank you for your sincere admissions of difficulties/complications/ideas that didn´t work, etc. The spritzing was crucial, of course!! I loved seeing the extra accessories that you used too and some more creative moves. Great video Steve, thanking you for sharing your creativity with all.
I love how you explain the techniques and your calm clear approach! I use some diy techniques myself, and got a couple of new ideas! Thanks a lot (I subscribed!) 💚
I wouldn’t have known it was shot on an iPhone had you not told us and provided the behind-the-scenes video. It was an amazing video which shows how equipment does help, but it’s really the creativity and skills of the person holding the camera and equipment that matters most. Thanks for this video and all the other ones.
Just great! Thanks for the detailed tutorial. The way you integrated the sponsor into the instructions is brilliant. I didn't even want to skip it like I always do. Note: You forgot to spritz the 'cold droplets' in one of the pouring clips. I would never have noticed that if you hadn't pointed out almost doing that in one of the segments. Truly great tutorial. Thank you!
Excellent video. More importantly, this is just proof that so many brands overpay for their commercials, which then passes on the unnecessary costs to consumers.
Amazing work, Steve - turning a humble can of drink into an epic cinematic extravaganza - and to see the behind the scene makes it more accessible. A round of applause! 👏👏👏
Thank you! I have been waiting for this, since you posted about it. It looks amazing. I could see that during the Super Bowl, and think it cost a million dollars. Kudos!
I have been learning a lot from this channel it’s been 4 years now , and I can honestly say that the only thing I lack now is a gd phone with a better camera to start my smartphone videography carrier
I wonder how many people will spot that you forgot to spritz your can for the pouring shot. Most people would miss it if they only saw the advert but I spotted it while you were showing us how you filmed the shot. That aside, it was very good final advert plus some great creativity and techniques ideas. I liked the movement and lighting tips.
I love your content. I've no issue with the technical side of videography, I fall down with creativity. It would be great to learn how you come up with your ideas. Yeah, I know that's down to the individual's imagination, and as an autistic I lack in that area, but non-the-less any content that goes someway to giving pointers in that area would be well appreciated.
I might also add, it can be quite easy to add your pan and zoom when editing. Just capture a static shot ( video or photo ) rather wide to allow room for the edit. Especially good idea if you do not have any other equipment.
Thanks @timothykieper great tip! I used this technique a lot in final edit but didn't mention it in the video. This a great way of adding more movement to your shots, especially if you forgot during filming or don't have the tools or techniques to pull it off on shoot day.
Thank Sir for your amazing Coca Cola commercial video. I am always watching your video lessons. In this video all are perfect shot, the only when you pouring Cola into the glass using your left hand is just not very attraction for someone because people generally hold cans in right hand and glass in left.
I agree 💯 - you could’ve picked quite a number of other products to promote, it’s too bad you made such a harmful choice 😵😪 one of the very few mistakes I’ve seen you make on this channel. Absolutely love everything else you do! ❤
Thanks for this great tutorial. You mention that you film in 4K/60 and 4K/24, but I see 4K/25 on your phone screen. ?? Is that because you live in a PAL region like I do? (flickering lights?)I assume you use 60fps when you want slow motion? Could you also demonstrate the speed ramp sometime?
No, no, not voice over. Everything in the pictures was round and soft, but the voice made it all angular and the softness disappeared. Even softer music would have done better. I think.
Nice video but could have been even better with another voice, the voice you used seemed too aggressive perhaps. Really enjoy watching your content, really make things easy to do and show creative ideas.
If you’re trying to capture a shot of a can opening without your hands in the frame, I suggest using fishing wire to pull the can open and then removing the wire in post-production. This will probably be easier than wearing a green costume. 👍

Beautifully executed! This tutorial is simply a masterclass on how to shoot a video. Would love to see something similar with food

You had the water spray on every shot apart from the pouring of the coke shot.
Great video. Found this really helpful. Really enjoy follow you.
I know, such a school boy error 🤦♂️ I forgot to spritz the can on the pour and didn’t realise until editing. Glad you enjoyed the video though 😀👌
Great work. My appreciation
Please continue to make videos like this for mobile phone filmmaking I'm looking to learn new skills
Those shots 😍 ❤❤❤. It's Steve's artistic work of art. Amazing 🫶

Amazing as always, Steve! Have you done ( or could you do) a video on workflow and file management? Please!

Kren saya suka from Indonesia

There’s always room for improvement 😀👍

Awesome video 👍🏻 I’m going out to get an ice cold coke😂
Cool.
The main problem with Coke.
It gets in your mouth 😂
My dentist will kill me if he she sees this! 😀

Woww that was awesome 🎉 it didn't even look like you filmed with a phone good job brother 🎉

The movable camera arm isnt one of the links!

Awesome
“I’ve and a slice” 🤔 I’ll have to try that.
Steave your advert beter then Coca-Cola on TV! Video super 👌
Placing can IN FRONT OF LAPTOP! Baller move!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
No, no, not voice over. Everything in the pictures was round and soft, but the voice made it all angular and the softness disappeared. Even softer music would have done better. I think.
I strongly agree with that 👌
Why aren’t my videos as crisp I don’t get it 😩 great tutorial
Love your video. Not keen on the voice choice.
Nice video but could have been even better with another voice, the voice you used seemed too aggressive perhaps. Really enjoy watching your content, really make things easy to do and show creative ideas.
I had to take the like count from 666 to 667 because this is a God sent video to elevate the soul of Mankind 😂
Haha comment of the day 😂 👆Thanks
I have a question, what if I use a green costume and remove it in the final edit. Like the part you opened the can, the pouring part etc.....
If you’re trying to capture a shot of a can opening without your hands in the frame, I suggest using fishing wire to pull the can open and then removing the wire in post-production. This will probably be easier than wearing a green costume. 👍
@LearnOnlineVideo thank you 😊
Greenscreen probably wouldn't even work here.
🥰🥰🥰🥰❤
I have all the expensive phones but i dont get a camera clarity like this
