How incredibly dedicated nik is, that he changes his hoodie, hairstyle and the entire time of the day to tell us about the sub percentage. If that doesn’t deserve a sub with notifications turned on, I don’t know what does 🎉
The "All new metal" list is basically all new songs that got out during the week from all styles that could be tied to a metal subgenre. I don't think it's really filtered.
Spiritbox and Silent Planet were there in the prior weeks but songs can't stay more than one week. I don't think there's any order either other than groups with more monthly listeners tend to be higher on the list.
Exactly. We all know Spotify makes rubbish's playlists but this isn't meant to be a best songs playlist just a weekly update of what's come out. A misunderstanding here honestly.
@@RATEDRRYAN1 I mean it is literally called "All" New Metal, not "Good" New Metal. And metal is an incredibly loose term these days. Just look at Sleep Token. I wonder what goes into Spotify's algorithm sometimes, or who curates these playlists. Like the list had some good metal songs in it but it was very few and far between in that long list.

I've always hated Spotify. Chiefly, I hate how you can spend hours curating an epic playlist and then they randomly remove tracks leaving weird phantom holes all over. Overall as a small band, even though Spotify pays the least per stream, since it's the most popular platform, we actually make our most money from it :/
