Wraithknight, the equivalent of Imperial Knights for Eldars.

I think those are screaming or howling banshees, i forgot which one. I dont know too much about the Eldar but they are melee specialists

That's the thing, they're not even that weak. Everything else in 40k is just so ridiculously overpowered that they're comparatively pathetic
The Astra Militarum is on the contrary the most potent military force in the Galaxy.
The share mass of their forces is insane. People tend to forget that Space Marines are like Navy Seals. The Astra Militarum is always doing the lifting, but it wouldnt be a very good story.
And yet for 10,000 years they have held the line
The “average” soldiers in Warhammer 40K would be the Planetary Defense Forces. The imperial Guard is (usually) selected from the top 10% of any given planet’s PDF. The Astra Militarum are the top 10% of soldiers, generally have decent combat experience, wield guns that could blow someone’s arm off and never jam, but they’re the weakest units on the table.
A planet broke before the guardsman did, buddy.
