I cut the apples into 1/4 and put the whole apple in the pot with a little water to help it steam. I put a 1/4 cup of sugar, juice of q lemon and a few sprinkles of cinnamon powder in it. Then I scoop the apples out of the pot and put them into my great grandmother strainer sieve with a pestle. The strainer removes the cores, seeds and skin,
