Do you still own and ride your ZRX? I've got a 2001 ZRX1200R with 2,200 original one owner adult owned miles and garage kept. Lost my job in 2008, put the bike in storage and have yet to get it out. Don't have a lot of cash to dump on it so until I do it's in storage. I'm sure I'll have to go through the carbs, change all fluids, tires , hoses and cables. Love the bike though... !
stock the zrx is tuned for regular. No advantage running higher octane fuel. Once you mod it like advancing the timing/pipes/pods/ect, then it will benefit from premium. Completely stock don;t waste your money on higher octane fuel.

This is just a simple bolt on modification. No other adjustments needed, the use of premium fuel is recommended.

The only fuel available in my area that doesn't have ethanol is Shell 91octane Super Unleaded. That's all I've ever run in mine.
