Thanks for clear and easy installation details. I bought a CCDF advancer for £17 and it DID have the countersunk machining on the rear face, so this has been addressed. Also I have a similar torque wrench and I think you may have torqued to 14Nm and not 24Nm?
Nice I have to look at the ccdf unit I got for my ZX1100D, off ebay from UK so I am guessing I will be filing as well and assume torque setting will be same for me as well at 24nm and Allen bolts at 11nm, but will check manual
@@Adikxx actually the one I have for my ZX1100 was an ELS unit , I have same unit as yours for my 2000 ZX-9R I have not installed yet but it may need some filing, thats okay

Why is the torque so important? Can you over tighten it?
I machined mine with a counter sink bit. I already had the counter sink bit.
A friend of mine bought one of these and tells me they now countersink the advancers so there is no need to file them, they go straight on.
Might have been a good idea to check the distance to the pulser coil
Does it make much difference on performance as to stock plate

Some of their advancers are well cut some others not(mibe wasn't)
But you might be lucky with it fitting perfect right away.

how much power and response did you get? any milage improvement?
numsebolleren havn't checked the fuel consumption yet but there is a noticeable difference in pick up. Throttle response feels crisper.
I have seen these advance plates being advertised. What’s the true advantage?
Or what was the disadvantage or oversight on the stock plate?
