Headline: Better than 35mm f/2? Meanwhile actual video doesn’t mention 35mm f/2 once, never mind that the two lenses aren’t compared at all. Clickbaiters gonna clickbait.
@@charbelesber1257 in my opinion it is far better, do check out my insta @qippys , i just posted some shots in there, I ended up buying this lens after reviewing it 👍😊
Cheers! Trust me you’ll be happy, I recently bought my own around a month or so ago and it’s pretty much stuck to the x-t4 I bought together with it cos I love it so much😆😆
@@QippysChannel thats my favourite focal length thats around 50mm? or 56mm? can you make another video on how you perform with this lens? I want to learn how to do composition in 'vertical' @50mm FF equivalent
Usability is much, much better than the old loud lenses with their slow AF and a wishy-washy aperture ring, missing weather sealing, like the awful 35/1.4.
"Weather sealing" really has become a fetish, IMHO. More than four decades as a photographer, never hesitated to take my gear anywhere I was. If things really get bad, I have a raincoat--i.e., a freezer bag--for the camera: cheap, effectively zero weight and bulk, and a multitude of uses. I keep two or three in the camera kit. Shower caps work, too. No camera or lens is weather sealed. For one thing, there's that big opening in the body where the lens goes. Change lenses outdoors in SE Asia, then tell me about "weather sealing." Then there are the "tromboning" lenses, both primes and zooms.
@darylnd yeah I remember those days when I did bring raincoats for my camera , but yeah I know what u mean about the camera not being fully weather sealed when you open the lenses or ports , but when all else is shut tight it truly is quite helpful I must say, I do just love that peace of mind just shooting in the rain without any special extras for the camera, just a camera in hand and my weather sealed lens 😊
It’s a personal choice everyone makes to watch a video, and the original intention is not to misslead, so I’m sorry if it came accross that way, however I hope u have a good day ahead, take care 👍😊

I agree. I was here for the comparison. Inaccurate/misleading title.
Thanks for your review, happy to share!
I'm gonna keep my small and reliable 35/2 to maintain small kit size :)
Most welcome and thanks for watching 😊😊
Great Video Bro, Love the lighting 🔥
Thanks bro appreciate it 😊
But You didn't compare it to the 35mm f2 , as the video suggested
I just made a mention about it briefly if I remember correctly 😊
@@QippysChannel is it bar better in term of image quality ? Or just a little

I have it. Optically it is excellent, but I wish the field of view and the depth of field were a little wider.
Love the lens! It’s pretty on camera the whole time 😊👍
Great pictures! I'm looking forward to receiving mine 😁

which one would you prefer, this 33mm or the 18mm ?
I think in terms of versatility the 18mm is way more versatile as an all rounder in my opinion
Is this for crop or full frame?
It’s for fuji which means it’s cropped body 😊

Compare with viltrox 33mm f1.4
Apparently the Viltrox has a longer minimum focusing distamcce and also the Af in video is snappy, also it’s not weather sealed
Usability is much, much better than the old loud lenses with their slow AF and a wishy-washy aperture ring, missing weather sealing, like the awful 35/1.4.
Yup I have to agree you’re right , for me those were the deal breaker for me for getting the older ones 😅
