How long is the content in your paid course? Arrangement and sound selection is where I really need to improve, considering picking it up! PS. - your tutorials are absolutely incredible - keep it up man you're adding WAY more to the community than most!
Unreal man, you could have split this up for more view/likes/clout, but you went the MVP route by showing people how it's really done. No filler or generic tricks and gimmicks. Just the real stuff.
Many thanks for this. I can confirm I’ve watched the full 8hrs 38 and learned so much. I’ve just switched to Ableton from Maschine after NI have been too slow with updates. This is a comprehensive walkthrough. I hope I can now produce something half decent👍
Hello guys considering this if I want to start with one of these two courses what do you recommend ? I am freshly converting from Fl studio and installed Ableton 12 on my system. My guess is these two great videos are the same, it’s just depends on what version do you own !
@Dj.ACiD. You'd be correct. Watch the video that corresponds with the version you own first. After that, you'll have a decent understanding of the UI. Then you'll be prepared to watch the other one if you so choose.
This is a generous huge Lesson. Thx for sharing with us. Lot's of learnings inside. And I just love to listen to you while building and explaining your mellow sound.
Just to say a huge thank you for your efforts. This 74yo newbie to production is loving your pace and style combined with your superb knowledge base. I'm going to use what I've learnt to help me write a song I've had in my head as a poem for a long while about my mum who committed suicide nearly 50 years ago. What I've learned already from you will go a long way to fulfilling that need to write the song. So very much looking forward to the rest of the tutorial and learning adding vocals etc. I have standard 12 and Launchkey 37. Thanks again.
Only 2 hours in and have learned more than any other youtube tutorial! Excited for the next six. Thank you for what you do and for providing this knowledge without asking for anything in return.
A beginner trying out every video on you tube on Ableton and song production, huge relief to have found your channel and this video, extremely helpful and I aint panicking anymore. Blessings, huge deal.
This is gonna be what I need. 8 1/2 hours of pure introduction. This program is too overwhelming for a beginner that just wants to put his thoughts on track. I look forward to learning this course!!
Wild that you upload this for free. I get that you probably make money from selling the samples, but still, the quality and effort here is seriously impressive.
I'm going to watch and study this and if I ever make it big, I'm going to come back and hopefully you're still around and I'm going break you off because an 8 hour video for something like this is actually gold and ppl pay for knowledge like this. You are just gold my guy and I appreciate you if no one has ever told you.
This is by far the best TH-cam video about electronic music production out there. Have not even finished the first track and learned so much. Thank you for your work.
Hey man just wanna say thank you. I have been looking all over for good tutorials on music production. i kept pulling up the 30 min tutorials and wanted something more in depth. I'm so happy to start learning this myself. I have played instruments but have had very little formal training. Music theory has always scared me so I tried to avoid it. But the beginning of this video has me excited to learn more. With the first hour of the lesson I feel i have improved a bunch. I am continuing the corse now.
THIS IS SO GOOD ❤ Im already 58 and i love electronic music since my youth and i learn myself making music as a hobby for about 2 years .I just want to thank you for making my free (rare) sparetime so precious. And besides that my english is getting better :-) Im German by the way . THANK YOU SO MUCH
Thank you Jules. This is exactly what I was looking for. Last month getting to grips with Ableton watching different channels, however, this is the one for me. Respect.
I think you re the first one to find here who fully explains things !!! It’s my first day in Ableton I’ve known some stuff on FL studio but I’d like to stick to Ableton!! I wish you can make more videos guiding newcomers to the era of producing !!! Something like fully analyzing the piano roll and shortcut videos and stuff!!! Thank you so much already❤
This less is soooooo soooo soooo much better than any other content. I started learning 3 years back, made some music without any guidance, but then got stuck due to lack of good tutors like you. You are amazing! Lots of love and I really appreciate your efforts for this great piece of work.
im a dj who do sets... always too scared to dive into the production side of things... but sessions like these are PERFECT for how I learn... thank you so much
Thank you sir. This is a holistic lesson for which I think many people will be grateful,. Me included. I did music at uni and wanted to simply learn the software. The inclusion of the music theory I didn't expect but made me realise how many levels you are catering to. Well done.
I was looking for a full Ableton tutorial, as I am thinking of transitioning to Ableton for live loop performance. Came across your tutorial, its golden. Seems, like everyone uses Ableton for live loop performing artist. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for making this absolutely incredible video. I was looking forward to discovering someone who could explain step by step how to use ableton live. Dude, you rock! I'm making progress thanks to you!
I'm only one hour in and have learnt more about not only Ableton, but also cords and melodies than I have in the past 6 months of scouring youtube for something like this. Thank you so much this is life changing. 🥰🥰🙏🙏 P.S. to the people in the comments saying that the sample pack are needed, I really don't think that is the case, you can use similar samples included in Ableton or even bring in some hardware synths ect...
YOU ARE AMAZING for doing this thorough step by step tutorial!! You are inspiring me to create my own music and with your help you make it easier as it can be so overwhelming. I was wondering if you could please do a live course how to create music on ableton live using a midi controller? Such as the novation launchkey pad and ableton push? Would greatly appreciate it
Bound to divide helped me fall in love with Ableton and I'll never forget that. Thank you for everything that you've done. Your efforts and hard work is really appreciated and I hope you come to tour India one day.
Thank you so much for putting all of this out. I’ve learned so much in a short amount of time and it wouldn’t be possible without you. I’m a complete beginner and super passionate about this. Thanks so much.
Sir thank you for this. Ableton has always bamboozled although I knew it was respected. You clarified most of my confusion with the epic tute. But more importantly those you haven't I have the skills and confidence to solve the issue myself. Thanks again mate!
Wow! Thank you so much for this! This is by far the best resource for Ableton beginners I’ve seen here on TH-cam. Incredible work. I’m 3 hours in and you’ve already filled so many beginner knowledge gaps for me 🙏
This is insane. I'm finally learning things even about music theory that I was intimidated by before. One thing is my sound is a little different from the video, but visually I was following along and it all looks the same. I wonder if it's to do with my headset somehow or some settings.
Amazing work! Such a joy following along and learning new aspects about producing with Ableton as a beginner. Your teaching style is excellent, very easy to follow, and overall composing style and musical ideas admirable. Thank you for your hard work and contribution!
Thank you very much for putting this out. Like you, I’m a very kinetic learner, and I only learn by getting my hands on and doing what it is I’m trying to learn. I’m about 3/4 of the way through the first song and gobsmacked how good it is. I’ll definitely be buying the follow on songs along with the big bundle to continue this learning path. Thanks!
Thanks for this video! I just did the first hour. Just some small remark: a note of a length of three 8 notes is a dotted quarter note (the dot adds half of the length).
This is a great tutorial for a beginner like me! The first track taught me a lot. Now looking for the right (stock) sounds/effects to use myself Thank you lots!
First of all a huge thank you for your effort here this is huge man! Second what is the differences between this course and the previous one "Abelton 11 video" I want to start to follow along with one of them, now I'm a bit confused 😅
i wish we had the possibility of changing the overall appereance such as moving what is left to the right and vise versa and a bigger arranger ... all these years i have used only DAWs that are made to have the tracks arm disarm features on the left and browsing , Inst. and the likes on the right and had to realy get used to have all mirroed ! but ableton is the Daw i want but cant efford right now ( suite ). i did one track with it and i had only 30 days so in 30 days i had to do all the production and the mixing and mastering ... what came out is by no means perfect but making it in only 30 days was a chalange that reminded me on old days 😊😊
Thank you for this course Bound to Divide. It's well crafted and pretty informative. Adding reverb on pad wavetable(2nd song) was magic. Could you upload a video on song making using Serum/Vital on Ableton?
Hi, I just wanted to say what a legend you are for making these videos for someone like me who is a complete beginner to music production, I can't tell you how much it helps. Thank you for everything, I wish you all the success you deserve. I just wanted to ask how much big of an impact does music theory have on production and if so till what level do you suggest on learning so that I can create mainly dark melodic tracks please. Again thanks for everything :D
Cant express my words..... Thank you so much for presenting this priceless video tutorial. You deserve all the success in your life. God bless you! Blessings from Srilanka🤍🙏
Love love the course, thank you! Just an idea: For those that can't afford the full sample packs at £196, maybe sell a pack of just the samples used in this tutorial. Because this is mostly beginners, that amount of money on a new hobby is a lot. I think lowering your barrier to entry and offering just the handful of samples, for people that want to 100% replicate what they're learning here (like me), is the way to go, and I reckon you'd make some decent cash. Like a £30 'trial/tutorial' bundle... Keep to up, and thanks again
i think the goal here is not making everything sound the same, but understanding the principals, doesnt matter what samples you use, just download similars, or use stock plugin. the main thing is to get the perfect balance, mixing and mastering

Wow Jules, wow! This is massive ❤ Can't thank you enough 🙇♂️
Unreal man, you could have split this up for more view/likes/clout, but you went the MVP route by showing people how it's really done. No filler or generic tricks and gimmicks. Just the real stuff.

2 Years studying music tech at college and this video taught me more...... Great job man....
just finished your first tutorial on ableton 11 and U upload this!?! Thanks a lot
same here! Today morning I was finishing my last 30 minutes and then I realized there are next 8 hours to watch hahah
Hello guys considering this if I want to start with one of these two courses what do you recommend ?

Best tutorial ever! Right to the point. No waste of time and chill at the same time. No bs, no arrogance. Pure gold. Thank you!!

Wow, well done on producing such an amazing educational video, this is really, really cool, thank you for all you hard work, great job! ❤❤❤
This course is another level, 1 hour in and I understood sooooo many things. You make music production easy
Looking forward to going through this one! I believe they named it ‘Main’ to get rid of the ‘master / slave’ terminology.
I started this tonight. I'm a total beginner and this is helping out so very much. THANK YOU!!!!
You have no idea how helpful this video is so far and I havent even finished watching it! Thank you!!! You're an amazing teacher.
Looking forward to spending a weekend with this. Thank you SO much!

The best tutorial I've ever seen. Covers both theory and implementation.
You exactly know how to teach people in a language that they will understand as laymen, instead of making or using complicated language 🫡🫡✅✅👌🏻👌🏻
Thank you! you've helped me a lot. big love man!
This is ridiculously helpful, and so dope for you to make and offer to the people. Thank you so much! I can't wait to put what I learn into practice
