I'm trying to avoid the forward-pointing look myself, so I tweaked it for me. 40 minutes with a back roll and 5 minutes with a front roll. Simply because I have very curly hair and that's what works for me. But I never would have even thought of it before I saw this video.
May I ask a question. First: Big fan, really like your videos. Very informative, greatly appreciated. My question: At what point is one allowed to name ones mustache?
I think that can be anytime. I actually named mine while I was joking around and making a post online. It kind of stuck after that. The joke I made is that if Sam Elliott and Chuck Norris had a baby it could be my mustache hence Elliott Norris. Name away brother.
@@bobandelliothismustache Now that is a great story! It really fits your mustache as well, making it even better. May I ask you another question? Unrelated, however I thought I'd take the opportunity. I posted a video of me practicing a song on guitar, with my mustache styled in a traditional handlebar type way. Someone commented: "Teach me your ways" You make such great videos on how to style the mustache, would it be possible to make a colaboration video? Me introducing, you showing off your skills, and me making an outro? I completely understand if you do not wish to do something like that, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
I have curly hair, so I leave the front roll in for 5 minutes tops. Any longer and I'm stuck with the elephant tusks. It's definitely not easy for me to just comb it out, but that's just my personal experience.
not gonna lie, that a masterpiece. But that dedication if you do this every day
The average styling time when not using rollers is about 20 minutes.
This video has been a real game-changer for me. The curlers are part of my daily routine, so thank you for that. Wonderful idea!
Awesome technique. Never tried that before. You have a phenomenal stache!!
Best mustache ever!
4:25 The forward-pointing is awesome! I'm gonna need to try that style!

Looks awesome!
FANtashtic!
amazing!))
You have mustache in your arms too 😅😅😅
Awesome! How do you strengthen the hair roots? Everytime I prep mine, 4-5 long hair come off.
Shedding is normal. Washing with head shampoos can strip out needed oils. I recommend a beard wash. Beard oils and balms on non styling days.
May I ask a question.

@@hal_of_a_time that sounds awesome.
I never even thought of naming mine until I started watching Bob and Elliot. But thanks to him I now call mine DeSoto.
👍
You could skip the gym after that workout! Momma always said, don’t take longer to get ready than your wife! 🥴
I don’t.
How old is mustache?
I’m at 32 months now. I think for this video it was around month 22 after I trimmed 3 inches off.
Thank you for response Monsieur 🙏🏽🥸🎩
Where do you get those rollers?
From target.
@@bobandelliothismustache Sweet, thanks brother.
Why did you do backward rolling first and then reverted later?
Back rolling it tilts the hairs towards the cheeks. Front rolling it tilts them away. Sort of a balance by doing both.
