I lived in Indonesia for a year and tried to explore the extreme metal scene as much as I could. Here are my personnal picks: Warmouth (Central Java) , Deadly Weapon (Central Java), Bersimba Darah (Bali) There are a lot of other interesting bands outside of stricly Grindcore, such as Avhath (crusty atmospheric black metal from Jakarta), Jasad (brutal death from Bandung), Revenge (experimental death metal from Jakarta)

I haven't listened to Indonesian grind either, but this episode reminded me of one of Indonesia's finest metal bands, Kekal. Which, in turn, now made me want to see a scene report on Christian Metal! I have a feeling that the Banger crew still has a stand-offish attitude towards the scene, and understandably so considering, well, most of metal history and it's attitude toward such things.
