Thank you very much for your reaction, Godbless. Now: there were two famous Polish alchemists, back in the high Middle Ages, the first one was _Sendivogius_ (Michał Sędziwój), the other one was _Duranovius_ (Jan Twardowski). Unfortunately, the latter was murdered, while the first was a famous author and a royal envoy (a diplomat). The legend has it that Twardowski actually made it (due to his pact with the devil), and dwells on the Moon, He was a dark magician, a necromancer. There are tons of legends surrounding his actual biography. Now, you have seen one of those legends. A fresh, witty, tragic, and veeeery Polish one. Cheers!
Read first the old Polish poem called "Mr. Twardowski". It talks about Polish Nobleman, who made a deal with a devil: his soul for the pleasures of life and richness. Neither of them kept their word and ended up tricking each other to the point, where devil got pissed off with Twardowski (which in Polish means hardman) and put him on the moon. Devil believed that if he can't get Twardowski"s soul, nobody will (i.e. God). And because this conflict is not resolved, Twardowski remains immortal, watching earth and life from the moon. Twardowski represents Polish way of thinking and Polish spirit of never giving up. You should watch the first part of this movie, which explains who is a modern Twardowski and how he escaped from its prison on the moon. These movies are full of symbolic and explain why Polish will always show middle finger to the devil (regardless of ehoever or whatever this devil is)
And to think that it's just an advertisement for the Allegro sales website... I suppose the budget was at least the same as in most Polish films... This only shows that Poland has opportunities, but either it lacks the courage to make such films or it simply doesn't. there are people willing to finance such projects. It's a pity, because as you can see from the above video, there is quite a lot of potential...
it's just a fairy tale based on old beliefs. I don't know what to get excited about. Poland has existed since 966. was a pagan country. we were off the map for 123 years. we don't ask for freedom, we fight for it... in every possible way. Twardowski BTW means hard one loosely translated. we have a tank of our design and its name is Twardy.🤣.
you're a cool girl, it's fun to watch, greetings from Poznań.Poland

All songs in these films are covers of old Polish songs.
It's a Polish legend. How priest named Jan Twardowski tricked the devil
