@@MegaJohn334 I’ve had both taramps and timpani. PRV audio owns timpano but Stetsom makes timpano amps. I would definitely suggest timpano over taramps my taramp lit up in smoke. And American bass for sure. American bass just has a great reputation and if you get the elites rn they are lik 160 on amazon. They will not blow on a 3k ima put mine on a 5k
when tuning the amp with the dd 1 or any tool disconnect the speaker wire don’t want to be playing any frequency when doing that. use a 40hz -5 db cause you will be missing out on the lower notes at 40hz 0db
That Bass Boost is used more for EQing and for engineering the sound or depth of the Bass. It goes with the concept, you have to turn things down in order to turn things up. Most ppl don't like it or use it because they dont know how. But its more a setting like a gain. Set it and dont touch it in the frequencies of 63-80. More in the 60's because thats where a lot of the kick is.. definitely don't Boost below or above the frequencies. Once you find how to use it, you'll make anything sound good..
Hey, quick question do you have a battery isolator between your front and lifepo4 battery? I'm pretty sure if you mix lead acid and lithium it can damage your batteries and not mix correctly. If I'm wrong let me know

Bro I like your videos but why don't you use tones to set your subsonic and your LPf and it looks like your speaker wires are backwards you have a positive on the negative but doing a good job bro 34 test tone or a 32 HZ test tone for your subsonic and a 80 test tone for your LPF I use this method all the time and it works out perfect even with a voltmeter 💯🔊😎
Thanks for the love my guy and that is my cheap ass Using red wire for both and heat shrank black for the negative. Don’t worry they are correctly wired it may be the angle of the camera bc I never show the other side of the amp. 🫡
And normally I would use tones but I have already tuned this amp before so Ik where to set it. It was too hard to record and set the tones at the same time. I tried to make it as easy and quick as possible to understand. 🔊👍

@@JuakoDiaz07 if your system is shutting down it’s because your voltage is dropping to a point where the amp goes into protect mode, its alternator but battery power I would try first, get a lithium 2nd battery and if that doesn’t work get a new alt, preferably high output alt for your car 240-320

@@JuakoDiaz07 first make sure nothing is draining the battery while the car is off like example lights… then if there is nothing take it to a mechanic and get their opinion on it it’s most likely the alt but I’m not a professional
My kickers been on full bass boost 105hz and ond zero gain ive never heard any distortion i even tickle my gain with bass boost off and it sounds like crap why would that be?

I run a jp23v1.5....and a single american bass xr 12 dual 2 ....and i have my subsonic ....bass boost ...etc. all set on 0 or turned off ....and i have a voice coil going out ......i do have a upgraded alt ....big 3 ....0 guage frame grounds ....have really good voltage ...need add a small back up batt...but its not a must have ...but i do wonder if having my subsonic and bass boost set at 0 caused this to happen ....i have clip indicator and i try to never let it clip ....idk ....seems like the spider or voice coil was weak or bad from day i opened the box and installed it ....contacted american bass but where i bought it off ebay and not direct from them ...they havent wanted to warranty it or even reply to a email ....i even offered to pay to have it repaired .....not response .....think i am going to go with sundown or resilient possibly sound quebbed for my next sub .....
Could you describe exactly what is wrong like do you hear something wrong with the. Subwoofer? Like rubbing, weird noise? If so it probably came as a slight defect. And the people you bought it from should take it back for money back or replacement. Now I have heard some good things about the xr so I wonder if it is a defect. Now if this gets you off American bass fully the subwoofer I would recommend would be the timpano tpt 2500 it won’t break the bank. On Amazon the d2 is 180 bucks I made a video on it and it is one of my favorite subwoofers. It gets lower than the American bass and I am thinking bout buying one more to replace the elites for a while. But my elites have never let me down just wanted to switch it up. But if you want really high quality just go with sundown they have the best reputation in the game. Hope this helps. Thanks for the comment
Is your box ported? If it is ported and you have subsonic filter off or too low then that caused your sub to play lower than it was supposed too causing damage to the sub.
@@walbertorodriguez4625 high pass filter if you want to run amp on subs dont touch it because if you have it to for example 15hz it will play every frequency above 15hz and if you have the lpf to example 80, just like a subsonic filter it will play the frequency range 15-80 in other words the bass notes

High pass filter = plays every note above where u set it at Low pass filter= plays every BELOW you set it at So if you put those two together it creates a range because it can play notes above the lpf and can’t play notes below the hpf. That’s an easy way to think about it, obviously it will play notes above and below but it will be a lot softer

I have an ultra capacitor but not isolator. Based on my research the mix should be okay.
