But don't forget that Messi has already scored 5 goals in 5 Champion's League games this season, and also Ramos is coming back from his long injury period. Those next games against Real Madrid are gonna be exciting.

This is the era when Barcelona had an amazing team and it was like their golden era, they were able to look to Real Madrid in the eye for a while and even be superior at times and El Clasico was the best match that a football fan could watch. Now Barcelona is not in their prime but Real is always in the fight. I will say that The Premier League provides better footbal as of now than La liga. Currently football is changing quite a lot, many teams are owned by rich men, specially from Qatar and injecting their own money and ideas, so is hard for the rest to score big transfers and keep the top players. I seriously give props to Real Madrid now, because they have been able to keep being between the top 5 teams being a club without an owner (the supporters are the owners) and using only the money that they make (still a lot compared to small fishes tho, they are the european team that has more Champions after all). Barcelona is not doing great but football is not a constant so when they fix the economic side... who knows.
barca is coming back just wait for it. We didnt have luck with the old president who made super bad decision (griezman, coutinho, etc). With ansu fati, pedri and all the new boys, the real classico match will come back for sure.

The major difference is that teams like Madrid or Barcelona cannot inject money from the wealth of their owners and they spend according to what the teams have and earn. The example is Barcelona, while having an strong team and earning a lot they made poor decisions money wise and now they face a terrible debt and cannot sing major players and had to get ride of Messi. Meanwhile Madrid did their homework and are still in green numbers even after the pandemic. They had their socios meeting the other day when they have to be transparent to the people and let them vote for every point, spendings, new bernabeu things, what is destined to what... even salaries, and then look for example at PSG, injecting money from a Qatar found in order to trick the legal parameters and keep doing whatever they want not asking for anyone's opinion. See the difference.

This video is great in showing that football isn't all about the goals scored. It's really really hard to score in football but the near misses, and tactical breakdowns are what keep everyone on the edge of their seats. You're not only invested when people are scoring.

I am a Barca fan ever since I was a todler. To me the 2008-20l4, Barcelona was the king of the world, they had the best of the OG players (Iniesta, Ronaldinho, Eto, Puyol, Xavi Hernández, and the Goal Keeper Víctor Valdés who we saw with the sexy saves) with the opertunity for the new fresh players whom you may have heard (Neymar, Rakatic, Suárez, & there new goal keeper Ted Stegar) not to mention La Pulga Messi. In those years Barca played Fútbol very beautifully bc they had there type of play style the tiky taka which is something not many teams at the time used. After the 2014 year many players retired or was transferd to a different club. The team was also in a situation where they were in need of a new coach and more financial resources whiched caused many more problems (mistreatment) in which eventually they had to let go of there best players even Messi. There were times ofc Barcelona had an alright seasons but currently Idk wuts happening in the world of soccer so this is all I can share

So I think y’all know Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Ramos, Ronaldinho and maybe a little more of the players in this rivalry, next you should react to some other big players from both teams like Suarez, R9 (Brazilian Ronaldo), Xavi, Iniesta, and Marcelo, Iker Casillas (one of the greatest if not the greatest goalie of all time), and Ter Stegan. Those are some of the bigger names from the teams that you will probably see a lot of you react to both teams more

But since Messi and Ronaldo are not their anymore, Liverpool v Manchester City is basically the El Clasico of today because they are the best teams in the world currently with the best players. Real Madrid, a very Rich Club not only because of the team being the capital of Spain but for a very long time they have maintained a very vas legacy with not only trophys won but legends being intrested playing for them because everyone loves to have there names in the big headliners so Real was an obvious choice since the begining from wut I see. So ofc with a team filled with stars they were ment to be great. When I think of Real Madrid I think of winning at all cost. With infimous players like Ronaldo from Brazil or like the more favorable Cristiano, everyones hunger and ambition to win was in everyones vains, they picked up players like Karem Benzema, Garith Balt, Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric, Ángel Di María, Marcelo, Pepe, and the Goal Keeper Casillas, any of these players I named on that list and then sum are players teams up to Today wish they had on there roster. Each of them because of Real Madrid made a huge ego for them, not to mention probrably one of the more hightest paid in fútbol. They are a team who not only plays aggressive but gets aggressive, they love to get into peoples faces when scoring againts not only rivales but any team who think they can compare. Even there current coach is legendary for playing with them during the 90s(Zidan who is also known for head bashing into people) who has now turned the team into a now more stable yet challenging team

For me R9 is better than CR7. He was just the best as a striker. Unfortunately, he was unlucky (too many injuries and health problems) and it's not because he was acting dumb outside the field like some players (Ronaldinho, etc).

You get maybe 10-20 shots per team each game on average, and I think the average goals across both teams is about 3 per game (it might be 2,cant remember)
So yeh 90% shots usually miss. A good team like Liverpool or Chelsea currently will convert maybe half the shots they have on target which is maybe quarter of the shots they have on and off target (on target means the attacker either scored or it was blocked, off target means it went wide without needing a save)
Usually about half the shots are off target, half are on target, and half the on target shots maybe a bit less (especially if the Team dont have god attackers) will go in.
So when a team scores...its a BIG deal. When a team scores 3 or 4 its a really big deal and when they get above 6 goals...its crazy
This creates crazy tension, so its actually possible to see a game that's 0-0 and it actually be a great game (to be fair it does not happen that often, 0-0 games are usually boring), but because each goal means sooooo much, it , makes the tension cray, doubly so it your team is involved
Salah is probably the best scorer at the moment, and he gets about 1 goal per game on average and takes 4-8 shots a match
