Feel the Skaven should have targeted him way earlier. They had the stuff to do it but didn't.
@@jacobgame2757 Looking at replays always makes me feel like a master player... until I try to play and the chaos overwhelms my multi tasking and micro abilities :P
@@majormoolah5056 I find it helps if you have a pre decided list of targets in a hierarchy. Like unit x should be targeting either their lord or their artillery. Unit y should be targeting their most armoured unit. Unit z should be targeting their archers. ect. I agree its still very hard to micro but it always helps as it cuts down the decisions in the moment.
The dark admiral of the Vampire Coast Luthor Harkon has led his piratical forces to Ulthuan to raid, but as they prepare to march in and loot a city, a horde of Skaven led by lord Skrolk erupts from the ground who were seeking to raid this same place at the same time. The only hope for the High Elf inhabitants is that both forces beat each other so bloody that they will not have the strength to raid their precious, pristine city. For the raiding Harkon, upon his terrorgheist, has brought a fellow vampire and a wall of dead men with more behind who have guns and the center piece of his army is his four cannonades, along with undead dogs and bats. Lord Skrolk of clan Pestilence has brought many weapons and creatures from the other clans of Skyre and Moulder, a dire omen, along of course with a wall of expendable slaves to keep these more powerful weapons like ratling gun teams, a doomflayer to ride down the rows of foes, some jezzails and the most terrible creatures such as rat ogres and a hell pit abomination, all safe. The battle starts as the vampires open fire on the hell pit abomination wanting to keep it away and kill it at all costs, but as they take fire from the jezzails some of the cannons are forced to switch targets to these. The doom wheel tries to rush in, but Harkon intercepts this and drives it back, as the front lines of slaves and zombies meet and gun fire flies in. The bat and wolves try to get in to attack he back line and big guns of the skaven but having kept some in reserve the skaven do fend them off.Finally after minutes of sustained cannon fire the weakened hell pit falls to Harkons own gun and blade, but back at the front line even more Skaven of clan Pestilence are called forth by their lord to join the fray, a terrible reminder that there are always some Skaven underfoot anywhere. Charging in personally, Lord Skrolk makes the zombies rot and fall apart all the faster but Harkon still flying around breaks the Skaven front line before swooping in to kill the most foul of rats. Still more get in behind the front line of the pirates to attack at the cannons but having seen off Skrolk, who escaped, Harkon flies back to save these too, to busy to kill the lord of pestilence. The sheer weight of all the rats starts to show however as they get in at every corner and opening and surge over the zombie front line. Just as it seems like they might be able to claw their way to victory however seeing their own lord flee and so many others fall over a thousand cowardly rats flee from the field. With this pest gone Harkon turns his sights to the elven city before him...

Wow Skaven player's army certainly struggled against that build, vampire coast with Luthor is really lethal. I just watched Davh absolutely rek Gojira's lizardmen with a Harkon air force. Nasty stuff. Seeing a counter build would be neat.
Cannon machinegun mode with obese amounts of gunpowder makes any real peg leg pirate a happy sailor! Yarrrr!
Turin out picked the Skaven player but I don't think it was impossible for him to win as well. Sending the doom flayers ahead of the infantry, leaving Skrolk isolated, not falling back with the hellpit, not protecting the weapons teams, not shutting down their firing line with plague breath and summons killed off the game.
That zombie deckhand mob with 135 kills though.
When Skrolk shattered, that's one of the few times I think it would be good to finish off the enemy lord instead of letting them run away. The reason why is because Skaven leadership's pretty bad already, a lot of the army was already wavering and suddenly being slapped with a massive penalty like that would've broken the Skaven off the guns and ensured that Luthor could rampage across the field with very little opposition.
Granted they were hit with army losses soon after, so it's not as if it's anything that would've really changed the outcome, but I think it would've broken them a little sooner.

Hmm i actually wanted to get back into vanilla multiplayer but all my favorite factions were changed so wierdly. healing caps are bad enought but the summon change as well... Idk is chaos currently viable? whats the meta?-
So when will my Warpfire Thrower and Bombardier be competitive? For such a cool unit nobody can make em work.
turin liber is direct damage (direct damage like mortis engine effects goes through resistances)
Play an Skaven infighting, Lord Skrolk vs Ikt Claw, or the Headtaker!! Its lore friendly, like the old ones would like!!!
U played very well in this game Turin but I still think vampire coast is a result of power creep, because before noctilus was hella op, but after nerf u have shown Luther is almost better, plus they have access to so much cheap chaff and guns which don’t break cause undead
I don't see a lot of Skaven builds with ratling guns much, what are there flaws in the meta?
They’re super slow and squishy with bad range
Patrick Cox I think it’s more because they don’t do good damage until units are within half their range
Skaven plague magic has the best casting passive in the game, you should never cut that

Hey Turin, some week ago i posted a match on discord where i played death runners against vampire coast and it worked really well, if you want to show the match it would be awesome, because i'd like some tips
Rodents are fast for their size in real life, dunno why the Skaven are slow.
They're stuck trying get someone else to go first. That's why they get a speed buff when they rout and it's every rat for himself

personally I just dont enjoy watching any of the vampire factions, theyre just gross. still watch it tho because you know..turin video
