How to convince others that Sathya Sai Baba is God?

- There are those that don't believe in God who criticise and make fun of those that do. The theist on the other hand is constantly trying to prove the existence of God to the atheist and can get quite violent and vulgar in defence. And there are those that criticise the name and form of the Guru/God you revere, because they revere another name/form!
Having faced ridicule and criticism for my faith in Sri Sathya Sai Baba, here are my thoughts.
Swami himself chooses his devotees and reveals his divinity to them in thousands of ways which transforms them. Sairam.
Swami is selecting his devotees.He never canvassed nor asked anybody to canvass .It is a boon to be His devotee since He always guards His chosen devotees!
Perfect messages at right time. I always reminds myself swami's message, once we surrender our mind completely to God he will take care of as in every way. It's our faith which determines everything. Let's follow his teachings and live for him. May swami bless u and speak through you. Thanks brother

Jai Sai Ram....Beautifully explained brother, Aravind..!! Its true that we are sometimes perturbed but your video is like a medicine to heal the thoughts with doubts on Swamy's divinity.
Its very surprising to see some people believe in Rama, Krishna, Shiva etc who they have not seen at all.
They only heard about them through scriptures.
Can they not believe in some one who has co-existed in physical form and has done SERVICE to mankind (transformed millions) to be following all the virtues that a human being should possess, spread love, impart free education, super special medical services free of cost, love for all religions?

As much i like this video , i like to think , swami hand picks his devotees, those who are meant to receive him , receive him . No amount of convincing them is useful as, swami knows when & how to pull the sparrow . But all this being said, thanks for this video brother . excellent video; a couple years back, I realized that this is the answer to skeptics...faith is inevitable, and the levels of "'evidence" people attribute to their beliefs ultimately are arbitrary, as beyond the "whys" are axioms that we simply have faith in. Faith is both reasonable and necessary.

Sai Baba is what he has always been and will always be he doesn't need us to convince anyone of anything. It's only ego that feels the need to do. Sai Baba just wants us to love and serve and realize that we are one with him.

This is such a beautiful video on Avatar Declaration Day. Like you mentioned what Swami said to that student, you are that example that has that unwavering faith in Swami, and looking at you, we all get inspired and in my case, my faith in Swami becomes so much stronger. Faith can do wonders, and Swami is doing just that for all of us.

Wouldn't you prefer to believe what is true and not just what may be comforting? My point is this... Faith is not a pathway to truth. You can believe absolutely anything, based on faith. Faith can lead you to a right decision or a wrong decision and for that reason, you can not believe anything based solely on faith. You need a reason to believe that is based on evidence.
Ps. Faith is the excuse people give when they don't have a good reason. ;)
I have read many books on Sai Baba. He taught that we are all God. There is no separation, we all carry a spark of God. Everything that is, is God. That's us and everything else in nature. God is the energy we call love,which exists in all of us.

Well said brother. Faith is very personal. I do believe in Lord Rama , Krishna because of Faith. And I know I am not a bad person and do not harm anyone, because Swami did not asked me to do. And yes I follow his words because of my Faith on him. So I am proud of my Faith. Many people used to tell many things ,but I have to do what I believe. I know I have told this many times...but really your video always brings a smile to my face. On many occasions, I have had so many questions the previous night, and the next day morning, I see your video and they contain the answers to my questions.
There is so much positivity I feel after watching your videos or the samarpan and satsang videos, that whatever anger or irritation and tension I had accumulated goes away at least for that day and I try to follow the message given by Swami via you all as messengers.

I would like to suggest : In order to proof that our Swamy is God one should first know what one expects of God. The attributes of God as per their individual concept /belief/ justification/ faith.
Listing those attributes cross cheque and see our Swamy will fulfill each and evry definition of God.
That is how we can prove and convince in a scientific way that our Swamy is God. Pl ignore language mistakes. Sai Ram.

Sai Ram,Thank you for a convincing talk on Faith. We also heard the talk given by Prem, at our centre ( Wentworthville Sai Centre, Sydney ), who too explained about Faith. Unless I trust and accept 100% that Swamy is Guru and God, I cannot succeed! Be, Do and Tell is the best way.

When you decide to go from your home to another unknown City by road, while it is dark and the headlights light up only 20ft of the road. don't we look at a map or GPS today and start off? We then have faith that there is a road after all. We have faith that the GPS is right and our car will have the power to take us to our destination?
Rabindranath Tagore said " Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings while the dawn is still dark" This is so apt to define faith.

Which Gods does/did he worship? Not himself?! Was he not a Hindu Swami or Guru ? I don't know the difference between Guru and Swami. i know Guru means bringer of light (enlightenment?). Does everyone need a Guru?

Thank you so much for solving this query that I had and with in few hrs I got the answer. Swami initiated it through you. Although this comment is coming after 4 or 5 days I got my answer very soon.

Oh, it is simply beautiful to hear your talk and wish it goes on and on. Do upload one more of your talk on this subject. Pity I saw it only now although it was uploaded three years ago. I wonder whether you will see my comment. But then if Swami wills it you will and am sure Swami will make it happen. I am 79 years old now. My first dharshan of Swami happened over 60 years back in Ooty and always believed that he was the supreme being. Despite my faith in Swami I wasted great part of my life forgetting about Swami. Swami materialised a small Shiv Ling, Vaidyanatha Swami, for me about dozen years back through a staunch devotee of Swami in Bengaluru to which I have been performing abhisheka and aradhana every morning till date. Through the same person Swami materialised and gave me and my wife a beautiful thulasi mala on 3.7.22 at our place. He also made brief visit to our place through the same person and spoke. Perhaps among millions of his devotees I would be at the bottom in respect of devotion to him. Yet he has repeatedly showered his grace on me and my wife. I am thrilled. May be as answer to my rendition of one of the bhajans .....mere jivan me saath raho Sainath hai, mere Sai mere Bhaba mere prananath Ram, Sai Ram Sai Shyam mere Sai Ram..'
Just Excellent...Be, Do and Tell... What we believe, we've the right to tell that...It's FAITH on HIM, which actually makes our life meaningful...JAY SAIRAM.

The only way to prove Swami is god, is by showing our life is his message. I believe he is god and my guru because he is the most ideal being that my mind can comprehend, I could see his presence in all creations. Thus making him the creator.

Is it important that others believe in what I believe? To a certain extent yes, when we all love the same God, it is called Sathsang, the gathering of like minded people. It strengthens the love, the faith. However if my next door neighbor does not believe in Baba, that is okay too. It only means we had different experiences. It is more important that I see my God in Him, then perhaps he will see his God in me.
Sai ram brother .swami got me married in Muslim family .I m happy and keep up swami's teachings .I have a challenge .I left in His Hands
It will be very difficult to convince through words. Lead your life as per Swami's teachings - full of love and selflessness. That will definitely touch their heart. That is how Swami touched hearts of all people irrespective of their religion - through Love which everyone appreciates.
God is great, Swamy given me a chance to follow the path of BABA divinity in this life journey.
