    Pretty amazing that her cross training was able to replace so much of her running mileage. Hopefully she continues to be healthy throughout track season. Has she talked at all about going pro after track season?

      She has an NIL deal with Nike. I'm not that familiar with NIL. I would assume she's going pro with Nike but I don't really know.

    Would like to see how they match up in track- 3K and 5K. With their body types PV may have an edge in XC but it’ll be different on a flat track.

    Current form does not lie.!
    She was always going to be diff to beat.!
    Katelyns team made a bad mistake letting Parker get away at the start. She should have pushed hard and stuck it to Parker when she had the chance.😅

    • @simmorg290
      @simmorg290 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Tuohy would've blown up if she went with Valby. If she did have the strength to go with her but chose not to she would've been strong enough to get second and not fifth.

      @@simmorg290
      Tactical error cost her any chance of winning this race.!
      Her team was expecting Valby to tire, fall back and then allowing Katelyn to pass her just like once before.
      When she came second to Parker the excuse was she just had a bad day.
      You have to strategize correctly if you ever hope to beat the best.
      Being in the hunt does amazing things for the moraal of an athlete.
      When the lead is to big the followers run for the minor places.!
      Two races in a row the Katelyn team f---- d up.
      Surely she did practise runs before this race?
      So if the times where not there why even bother to run if she does not plan to win?
      Times for excuses are over now.
      Its time to put up and show or stay home.

      @@brucecarey1780 Tuohy just didn't have it today and that's it. Nothing she could've done about Valby. Different tactics would've made no difference. Her coach said afterwards that she'd been ill since the day before.

    • @machineofadream
      @machineofadream 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@brucecarey1780 You have no idea what you're talking about. Thinking you are this smart is a sign that the opposite is true. NC State managed to win the team title without their second best runner. The team doesn't need your help. Tuohy ran how she did because she was trying to help the team win. She knew she didn't have it today.

      Great performance today, with Valby demonstrating an astonishingly strong run at this distance today.
      Hard to be too excited for Valby. though, as we’ve listened to her off-camera,our squad noting Katelynn Tuohy as more modest re: her success-has worked equally hard, doing well in the past. But today was Parker Valby’s day.
