I just tossed a few several months ago because they were getting dry. I ordered this and will be replacing a couple of tips.

I had messed up the tip of one of my Mango Melody Blends and that color is not available now. I got the supplies and changed it out. Works perfectly now. Thanks for the awesome tip.

Fantastic tip Tina. I definitely will seek out these tips and alcohol blending solution. I extend the life of my stampin write markers with reinkers. . It really does work. Thanks again.

Yes, I use ink refills in my regular markers too, but since there are no refills for the Blends, the solution gives additional life to them

Thank you for this very informative video. I have a few blends that have hardly been used that have "dried" out, this will help immensely especially now that you have to buy a 2 pack of blends. Thanks again so, so much.

you are very welcome. If your markers are totally dried out, you may need to add a few more drops of solution to revive them

Thank you Tina. But I would absolutely Lov lov if u should us how to refill them. I know they wouldn’t be the exact color but they seem when I color a lot they dry out. So this would be soooo helpful. Thank you🤗🇨🇦❤️

SU does not have ink refills for them. The blending solution adds additional life to them. Regular ink is much different than alcohol ink. Other manufacturers of alcohol ink refills probably would not match

Hi Mandy, I refilled a bunch of alcohol marker colors with water based stampin up inkpad refills and blending solution. The colors do not match perfectly but I got them close enough. Generally add 3 drops of blending solution to the brush tip, then 2-5 drops of dye based refill from SU. You get darker color with more refill drops. If the light marker color turns out too dark, you can wash it out by soaking the brush tip in the blending solution for few minutes before replacing, and add 2-3 more drop of blending solution to the marker. Let it sit for 10 minutes before testing. For some of the dark marker color, I added 2 drops from a next darker color and 3 drops of matching color. That turned out closer to the original color. Wear gloves because it can overflow and get everywhere. ;-). Happy stamping.

You may have answered this in the video .(My husband is shouting at the basketball game so I might have missed it.) If you are going to add the alcohol solution to rejuvinate can you put the original tip back in or should you always use a new one? Thanks for all the info. I have several markers to try this on.
