I glad your organization is helping people instead of demonizing them.

People aren't usually born Homeless they become homeless because of adversity...sometimes their lives get stolen by others and they must start OVER...These children of God need a hand UP it's not a hand out...WE ALL MATTER

I love seeing the safe villages popping up. I live in a neighborhood with a large homeless population. People camping keep getting moved on or have their things stolen etc. Theres little safety just living out in a tent. The little houses and domed cabins are in fenced villages and offers a much safer existence ♡♡. Since Covid I've seen a half dozen of these little villages pop up in safe zones ♡♡♡

This is a great project, wich we should adopt in Scandinavia ! 🤗
After all STUGA is a Swedish word.
    Meaning summerhouse.
Most scandinavians prefer to live in a modestly sized home. To have a STUGA.
    The simpler, the better....😍
(To remind us of our humble ancestry). 🏘
    Stay safe and well !
    Love from Norway 💖

When space is limited as is here my space was a commercial truck with sleeper , you do better to keep your things in zip bags . You can hang them from the frame , I had a bag for socks and underwear, another one that I had can goods in , one for my electronics and one I kept my electric tools and parts in. All the bags were different colors making it easier to remember what was where. Things moving around in the truck I just put a belt through the handles kept things from flying around.
Clothes I had 14 of the same thing. All black (grease don't show up on black) I would make rolls.of clothes, shorts , shirt underwear and a pair of socks. I would roll them up kept them rolled with a rubber band. Showered every day if I had to I could shower every other day giving me a month before I needed to wash again.
Shower with one molded piece flip flops. No glued shoes they never last. Put dirty clothes in a Walmart bag tied them up so the odor was contained.

Conestoga huts are awesome. And cheap to build. If you have some cattle panels and some lumber and plywood lying around it is a good way to put it to use. It makes a good storage unit or for camping.

Put these in places where you see all those tents in the downtown areas of big cities!

if you can build a 10x10 shed on a property, you can build a 10x10 shelter for the homeless.

that's true you can build a shed only the govmint makes it illegal to live in a shed full time as a permanent residence. So that's why people are homeless. There used to be "room units" in the U.S. - not just "dwelling units" - and so "room units" aka Single Room Occupancy units had a shared bathroom. Then people in the cities could afford not being homeless - and they called it Skid Row. They were demolished to have "progress" so commercial real estate could increase their profit levels. That's the real cause of homelessness - not "mental illness" or "drugs." Sure if someone is homeless then they're probably going to develop other problems also.

Field of Dreams. Build it and they will come. Give away free food and free shelter and the immigrants will magically arrive. Put out a bird feeder for free food and the birds magically show up. LOL.
