This album and his young Sinatra mixtapes remind me of a really special time in my life. I remember listening to this in high school and and it was really unique to have young “cheesy” artists like him and Mac that I could relate to. T.I.T.S was a good follow up sophomore album too with a story that I liked a lot. After that there were a few songs here and there that were great(44 bars, Indica Badu), but overall he hasn’t come close to his early level, although No Pressure was a good sign that he still has that ability. I respected how he tried to change his sound and he had a great message on Everybody, but overall nothing really resonated with me like his early ones. Also, his main producer 6ix that he came up with is probably one of the best in the game that absolutely no one talks about.
dont put mac and him in the same level dude lmao. Mac came out with FACES the year this came out. Im sorry but no one who was listening back then legitimely could think Mac was "cheesy". If they did they were fucking losers lmao. Give me a break.
Logic will always hold a special place in my heart because just like him he was one of the first music artists I ever fully got into when I started exploring music. I still love him to this day seeing how he’s experimenting with his music more especially with his Def Jam contract coming to an end. But yeah love your reactions! And first video I see from your channel. Love your deep voice lol
I always felt like Logic was kind of like raps little brother, he’s so talented in his own right but he drowned so far into his influences that he never really crafted his own sound. I’d say this album and No pressure we’re the closest he ever got. Used to absolutely adore him as an artist but he lost steam for me somewhere along the way. That being said UP is his best album so I’m very happy you got a chance to hear it!! Keep the great content coming guys
I was such a huge Logic fan too. I also attended 2 of his tours in LA and Chula Vista, CA I even still have my Logic bomber jacket that everybody wanted. He was all I listened to when I got my first car and me and my little sister would always try to memorize Gang Related. Please tell me I wasn't the only one that thought they'd get picked to go up on stage and rap with him LMAOOO and not know the whole song. This album was what got me swearing I was a rapper rapping along with Logic. His older mixtapes, and the incredible true story were deffenitely life changing and helped me through rough times.
I got the red bomber jacket from the Bobby Tarantino v everybody tour i saw him here in Chula Vista and it was a dream come come true. Lost my voice by the end of the show to haha
The song Under Pressure means so much to me. It was one of the first hip-hop songs I listened to and it blew my mind with how emotional and deep hip-hop could be. The thought of an artist telling a story with voicemails was unbelievable to me, I'm glad it was able to resonate with your dad.
@@bigsmacked there’s been plenty of hip hop artists from the 90’s and 2000’s to use voicemails and rapping from the perspective of someone else in their songs. Kendrick or Logic were far from the first to do that, and it’s certainly still a popular choice to do in the genre. That’s kinda like saying every rapper who puts their baby picture on their album cover (something Kendrick did for GKMC btw) is just derivative of Biggie or Nas
@@h4rryph1ll7 i think Rohan put it pretty well. You start nitpicking the album and you’ll see all that. But I’d rather have that than artists like gunna where I can’t even discern if it’s a song by him or like 3 other artists that all sound the same
Under Pressure is one of my personal favourite hip-hop tracks of all time. The family problems are relatable and the fact he produced it himself too - an amazing story
Damn, sure I wasn't expecting this. Since 2018 I stopped listening to Logic and never really went back. This album still hits like I'm listening to it for the first time. Thank you
@@korruption2802 he literally retired from rap like a year ago lol. No pressure was his final album. He has a multi million dollar streaming deal with twitch now.
Criminally underrated album and probably one of my favorite albums to revisit today. Sad to see his music career fall off quite a bit, I truly think Logic had a great run until he got main stream buzz and lost his sound.. but I definitely can still appreciate his old work
The album that fully got me into rap as a kid, listening to whole albums and not just random songs I’d hear. Used to listen to this album everyday on the bus too and from school. Haven’t loved logics recent stuff (other than no pressure), but this will always be one of my favourite albums of all time.
i still remember my first logic song my friend played open mic and i instantly fell in love, listened to his WHOLE discography in a few days and loved every second. i also remember the extreme sadness from finding out he retried already lucky he’s back and have vinyl days coming out soon
I think that this album is one of those that is going to define our subsection of the generation, it’s one of those that isn’t necessarily the most impressive, but it seems that there is a lot of nostalgia around this album from people my age. I’m 23, graduating college in a month, and still come back to this album. It defined my early high school experience, which is something I’ve come to contemplate coming to the end of my college experience. A special album
Listened to this album when it came out on YT as a freshman in high school, and I graduated college today. This album is an album that holds such a nostalgic feeling, listening to it feels like connecting with my younger self in a way. And congrats on graduating soon, it’s not easy, so remember to sit back and be proud of yourself for a moment when you get to that moment!
I’ve been reflecting on this album a lot and it’s probably Logics best but I feel like the nostalgia I feel for it is tied into how much he lets his influences show.
The voicemails in Under Pressure always felt like the realest shit you see in hip hop. No matter how the rest of his career has gone this album was special and I’ll always look back on it with love and admiration
The Incredible True Story is my favorite Logic album so I hope yall get to that. Logic undeniably fell off and I also kinda outgrew his music but his early work holds a special place in my heart
@@sparechange.please maybe for them they just resonate with a lot of other music a lot more now since as life goes you experience new things and don't always think about things the same way. each person has their own story and timing is important. i haven't listened to logic in a while, but when i do it brings me back to a time in my early teens, and as i live life, maybe i'll end up resonating with his music again later on.
I’m so glad you had your dad react to this album! I’m a huge Logic fan and I definitely feel like he’s overhated. That doesn’t mean I think his entire discography is perfect, but it’s definitely a lot better than what most people make it seem to be. Under Pressure, The Incredible True Story, No Pressure, and his Young Sinatra mixtapes are all amazing projects. It sucks because a lot of people have never listened to them since they found out about Logic afterwards because of the 1-800 song. Either way, he’s still a great artist. Can’t wait to listen to his new album!
Every Logic fan thinks that he's overhated and that the Young Sinatra tapes are amazing. Neither of those things are particularly correct. Edit: I forgot to add, also, nobody cares more about the 1-800 song than Logic fans 💀 and they all think that there's a bunch of fake fans who don't understand the old music like real fans do, only having discovered him after 1-800. Relax goofy 🤣
@@arthurdunn4594 I never said anything about fake fans. I was saying people in general first discovered him because of the 1-800 song, so they probably never listened to those projects I mentioned, because they came out beforehand. Also, if somebody likes the artist’s music, old or new, I would think that they’re a fan. So generally speaking, if someone is a fan of Logic, they’re most likely a fan of his mixtapes as well. If you think that’s not “particularly correct”, then you’re probably not a fan or you don’t really listen to him like that.
@@TheMisterMann bold of you to assume that prior to No Pressure and the stuff he's released since then, I had listened to every single song Logic ever released, including the "Psychological" stuff, and was heavily involved in the online fandom. Man thinks idk what I'm talking about 💀
@@arthurdunn4594 I mean even then, everyone lowkey misremembers Logic on his come up, but he’s pretty much Chance before Chance when it comes to his popularity. Great mixtapes, great debut album, amazing to okay sophomore album whether people fucked with the space theme, good mixtape, decent 3rd album but became the 1-800 guy, good 2nd mixtape, decent Sinatra album but overshadowed by Lil Wayne, two bad albums, return to form with No Pressure which is top 3 in his discography, dropped a filler EP to help get out of his contract and now we’re to Vinyl Days. One thing that Logic has absolutely improved on is his production but his writing and pen ability suffered as a cost, but he never lost his pen just didn’t rely on it when he should’ve.
the ending voices have a meaning, it ties into the incredible true story album. the people on the ship were (this is confirmed by logic) listening to logics music and the voice at the end of the songs was the assistant telling the ship people info about the track. its a weird concept but i like this because he said he always wanted to make this story he has a interview were he explains it better then i do, search it up please! :)
Yeah, it was such a cool concept. Sad to see it end with Everybody, with the direction that album went. It was definitely his weakest project as it came off a bit preachy, but personally don't think it was a bad album by any means
@@ldope3904 It actually never ended. The story of his albums is weaved throughout his album covers and listening to the albums. From UP to NP, you’re listening to Thomas and Kai listen to the albums. They just stop saying stuff at the start of YSIV. You learn how the storyline is about to end in Open Mic\\Aquarius III. He’s either gonna end it with a radio play or comic book series.

This is a nice birthday gift I used to bump to this album a lot when I was a lot younger and seeing you guys react to this master peace on my birthday makes me feel like a kid again. Thank you
Logic has so many good projects from Young Sinatra to Undeniable to Welcome to Forever to Under Pressure to The Incredible True Story to YSIV to No Pressure man they all hold a special place in my heart! love this reaction!!
Thanks for opening my eyes to this album. I'd only really heard bad things about logic but immediately when I heard intro off this album I got super hyped. This album has an incredible inspiring sound to it. I love it.
Yeah people hate him blindly a lot. He’s got three great projects and some good mixtapes pre-debut. A lot of his projects besides those three are still alright
Logic mixtapes> any current rapper in his generation. Undeniable mixtape is the best lyrical mixtape in his generation imo. Not one Kendrick album comes close lyrically to undeniable. Just remember Lupe said logic was a better lyricist than Kendrick and Lupe is the goat lyricist. Logic has hella fallen off since TITS but people don’t realise how incredible his old work was
God I would fucking kill to hear under pressure again for the first time. Really. I’d kill, probably a kid if I had to. A woman, whatever. Old person? Fine.
saw logic live during his under pressure tour in Massachusetts with one of my best buds in a very small venue and I can honestly say he is one of the best live performers I've seen.
I heavily dislike fast rapping, but J.I.D and Logic make it work, i feel like it's because i can easily hear what they're saying, they sound so clear when rapping fast.
Have either of you listened to Snoop Dogg's debut album? It holds many 70s samples your dad would appreciate, and of course Snoop himself transcends generations. Definitely worth a react video!
Really glad you guys are reacting to this album, i used to be a big logic fan growing up and even though I haven't enjoyed most of his recent music this album will always have a special place in my heart 🔥💜
As someone who followed Logic's career from the YS1 mixtape the hype for this album release was massive, and it didnt disappoint. Under Pressure in my opinion was an instant classic. I have so much respect for Bobby as a person and an artist, I just wish I enjoyed his newer music as much as the older stuff. After incredible true story I just didnt feel his music was for me anymore. TITS is a great album but from BT onward I just didn't like any of his music.
bt 1&2 are up there for me. supermarket is really good if u read the book, we don’t talk about coadm and bt3 tho…. no pressure is my favorite regardless.
the song under pressure has always been a trip... the grind, the hussle, and then to bring it back and talk about family. It will always be one of my favorite songs.
definitely was not expecting this react, i’ve got a very similar story with logic and i don’t love him as much anymore but under pressure will always be one of my favorite albums
Your dad has such a unique voice! He sounds like he could be an announcer or something. This is my first time watching this channel and im so glad to see how much you guys appreciate this album. This is my all time favorite Logic album. I used to listen to this album everyday on the bus 8 years ago. Very nostalgic, and hits home for me.
In all honesty this is one of the greatest rap albums ever made. Iconic, nostalgic, but still feeling new every time I listen to it. Truly a masterpiece even more impressive that it was his first studio album. Even the album cover itself is amazing and iconic.
honestly thank you for doing this. logic gets alotta hate which i feel is slightly deserved (just my opinion coming from a fan since his earliest mixtapes) but his early music is genuinely amazing and people don’t give him enough credit for his musical abilities.
Logic is a fresh of breath air in todays mainstream hip hop. Not to say, it can be overwhelming for new comers because he has an insane flow but it is pretty clear and clean. This one is a nice surprise.
Almost feels serendipitous to see you guys reacting to this album, i've been watching your videos from the beginning & this is one of those albums i've listened to countless times, mostly around when it came out but I revisit it all the time. I was fresh out of high school & living in a new city, this album helped me in a lot of ways. Kept me inspired. It's always a nostalgic listen for me, it's awesome to see you guys discuss it. Great work 🤘
I’m getting into Logic currently, I listened to Tetris and Decades when they dropped recently and I’ve been hooked. Just listened to this album for the first time the other day, funny enough. Good timing! 😂👊🍻
Gave me chills when you told the story about logic, simply because I have the same experience growing up. I remember going to see him on tour, and sneaking out right before the concert ended, to go behind the building where his bus was to meet him, they had a roped off walkway for like 100 feet from the building to his bus. We saw Lenbo first, he was like a big teddy bear and signed our tickets, the man literally stood there with us for 10 minutes just talking. Logic came out and it was almost like he was nervous to meet us/the people around us. Very very down to earth, non-egotistical people. Thanks for sharing your story.
One of my favorite albums and if not the first fully liked album, I had loved each song…and still do. Especially Growing Pains III. I had heard it playing on my shuffle the other day and I hadn’t heard it in a bit before then. The whole album takes me back to my late middle school and freshman/sophomore days.
The one thing about Logic that is important to know is that he wears all his influences on his sleeve and has never denied that. Some call it ripping off, but anyone who knows Logic knows that he loves his favourite artists and makes their thing into his own.
Literally the best yt account, so enjoyable to watch and listen too, I get to revisit all the old albums i havent heard in years and it gets me very excited.
I had been praying for DAMN, and was so stoked when you posted. BUT UNDERPRESSURE?!?! This is such a throwback I'm so pumped right now. Can't wait to watch
Under pressure reminds me of Mac Miller's perfect circle/God speed. Not just because of the phone call and beat switch but the struggles that they were both having and the raw emotion it puts out there. I will always appreciate an artist that can effortlessly switch up a beat mid song and an artist that can make you feel something. Twenty one pilots are really good at that too
This album and logic were my introduction and gateway to hip hop. I can’t help but get nostalgic whenever I hear it and Logic will always have a place in my heart for it and for bringing me into hip hop. I grew out of listening to Logic though due to his later albums, but he definitely does not deserve the hate he sometimes gets. He made his mark on hip hop and deserves some respect for that.
No doubt in my mind after listening to this again so many years later, that this is Logic in his prime. He was grinding and blowing up off his mixtapes and when he finally had an opportunity to release his debut album, he ceased the moment and dropped a classic
I always get goosebumps on Till The End where he goes “if y’all fuck around and try to give the ball to another artist imma intercept, ITS MY TIME” like he was just hungry for it
One of my best friends from Varsity put me on to this album, and it's such a special piece of art to me. Unfortunately, my friend, Sipho aka Psy, passed away shortly after graduation. It's been about 5 years, and I still miss him everyday. Rest in power. Thanks for the reaction, guys! Keep going.
This is easily becoming one of my favourite channels on TH-cam. I’ve been binging you guys for weeks! The relationship you and your Dad have is nothing short of beautiful. 👏 ❤
No way! I've been introducing my girlfriend to Logic these past couple days. I've been listening to a lot of his music. Just now I'm rolling and was listening to Everybody. Got to see him on that tour here in London. Incredible human being. One of the nicest, most humble artists I listen to. Just wow. Gang Related btw is hands down one of my favorite songs. His flow and that beat. And the subject matter too. How the 1st verse is from Bobby's perspective then it's from his older brother's perspective. Really dope.
Thanks for doing Logic as well.. Still think he’s heavily underrated, even though COADM and Supermarket were very weak.. But, even though Eminem is the first rapper I listened to, it was Logic who truly made me love hip-hop.. If it weren’t for him, I never would’ve listened to Kanye, Kendrick, Cole, Nas, OutKast etc. I am really excited about Vinyl Days, since I liked the 2 singles he’s released.. Really every album apart from the aforementioned and YSIV is incredible.. Everybody to me got better over the years, and the BT-mixtapes (apart from 3) are incredible.. But his Young Sinatra-mixtapes are still his best body of work
I think when people talk about logics albums they talk about how there is so many bad ones but in reality up tits and np are all like 9s everybody and ysiv are both like 7s and codm is weaker with a 6 and supermarket is more of a Bobby ball album then a logic one but I don’t think it’s bad just different then the young Sinatra and bt projects are all solid even though I would say bt3 is the outlier there ysiv prob a 8
Logic touring Under pressure in Vancouver at The Vogue was my first ever show (17 years old). Such a great memory and it's cool you guys were there too.
Grew up listening to his mixtapes from all the TH-cam videos as they were free and non-copyrighted. I loved this album, and I was so happy for him. I remember practising soccer in the back yard for hours with this album on repeat. Then doing some push-ups and dumbbell curls in the shed 😂. I didn’t make it pro :( But I’m pretty fit
I remember finding this album back in middle school and just falling in love this will forever be one of my favorite albums ever I know every word to every song glad you guys covered this need to hear your dad listen to soul food 2 now

Have it learned for about 5 years now, one of my favourites, was always sure I’d get brought up😂😂👽
I got the red bomber jacket from the Bobby Tarantino v everybody tour i saw him here in Chula Vista and it was a dream come come true.
Very derivative of Sing About Me, by Kendrick but yes it is a great song nonetheless.
@@bigsmacked the problem is if u nitpick this album feel likes GKMC side b😹
@@bigsmacked there’s been plenty of hip hop artists from the 90’s and 2000’s to use voicemails and rapping from the perspective of someone else in their songs. Kendrick or Logic were far from the first to do that, and it’s certainly still a popular choice to do in the genre. That’s kinda like saying every rapper who puts their baby picture on their album cover (something Kendrick did for GKMC btw) is just derivative of Biggie or Nas
@@poprocks187 he literally bit the drums and whole sound as well 😂
@@h4rryph1ll7 i think Rohan put it pretty well.
Thank you
his album No Pressure from 2020 was actually good but don't listen to his other stuff post 2018 lol

Criminally underrated album and probably one of my favorite albums to revisit today. Sad to see his music career fall off quite a bit, I truly think Logic had a great run until he got main stream buzz and lost his sound.. but I definitely can still appreciate his old work
Vinyl days june 17 stay tuned for some og logic

One of the first albums I’ve ever listened to and fell in love with along with 2014 FHD. I’ll defend this album with my life ,A true classic
Same here just instead of FHD it was GKMC
The album that fully got me into rap as a kid, listening to whole albums and not just random songs I’d hear. Used to listen to this album everyday on the bus too and from school. Haven’t loved logics recent stuff (other than no pressure), but this will always be one of my favourite albums of all time.
Self-titled “Under Pressure” is one of the best long-rap songs of all the time like Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst or 4 Your Eyez Only.
You literally named my top 3 songs ever 😂
I just have a thing for songs that are just crazy long and have dope storytelling
Sing about me, I’m dying of thirst>Under Pressure>4 Your Eyes Only.

i still remember my first logic song
my friend played open mic and i instantly fell in love, listened to his WHOLE discography in a few days and loved every second.
i also remember the extreme sadness from finding out he retried already
lucky he’s back and have vinyl days coming out soon
I think that this album is one of those that is going to define our subsection of the generation, it’s one of those that isn’t necessarily the most impressive, but it seems that there is a lot of nostalgia around this album from people my age. I’m 23, graduating college in a month, and still come back to this album. It defined my early high school experience, which is something I’ve come to contemplate coming to the end of my college experience. A special album
Yeah definitely
I found this album I like 8th grade I'm almost 21. Super nostalgic
Man this album brings me back to high school days. Always smile when these songs come on the shuffle
The voicemails in Under Pressure always felt like the realest shit you see in hip hop. No matter how the rest of his career has gone this album was special and I’ll always look back on it with love and admiration
He listened to gkmc and definitely fucked with it haha
@@Calebe428 in an interview with fantano he called it good kid under pressure
The Incredible True Story is my favorite Logic album so I hope yall get to that. Logic undeniably fell off and I also kinda outgrew his music but his early work holds a special place in my heart
made a great comeback with no pressure tho and his new album is very promising
Fell off? Lmfao
wait how can you outgrow Logics music, this doesnt make sense to me sry
@@sparechange.please maybe for them they just resonate with a lot of other music a lot more now since as life goes you experience new things and don't always think about things the same way. each person has their own story and timing is important. i haven't listened to logic in a while, but when i do it brings me back to a time in my early teens, and as i live life, maybe i'll end up resonating with his music again later on.
Glad y’all are diving into this album. The title track is Logic’s best song imo, also it’s super cool that y’all met him!
I certainly was not expecting this reaction. Excited to see, as I haven't seen someone react to this album in years. Definitely some of his best work.
What a classic I remember listening to TITS in 2015 and I went back to listen to under pressure I was just mesmerized

the ending voices have a meaning, it ties into the incredible true story album. the people on the ship were (this is confirmed by logic) listening to logics music and the voice at the end of the songs was the assistant telling the ship people info about the track. its a weird concept but i like this because he said he always wanted to make this story
he has a interview were he explains it better then i do, search it up please!
Thanks for opening my eyes to this album. I'd only really heard bad things about logic but immediately when I heard intro off this album I got super hyped. This album has an incredible inspiring sound to it. I love it.
Yeah as others have said this is probably his best album. Give The Incredible True Story and No Pressure also chance.

Logic never misses with his outros. Till the End one of the best ive ever heard!
What a tremendous video. Your dad is what I inspire to be when I'm a father.

I was waiting for yall to do Logic. Logic has made a very remarkable impact on my life and my music taste for sure.
One of my favorite albums and if not the first fully liked album, I had loved each song…and still do. Especially Growing Pains III. I had heard it playing on my shuffle the other day and I hadn’t heard it in a bit before then. The whole album takes me back to my late middle school and freshman/sophomore days.
this is one of my favorite albums of all time. i’ve been waiting for this one🔥
The one thing about Logic that is important to know is that he wears all his influences on his sleeve and has never denied that. Some call it ripping off, but anyone who knows Logic knows that he loves his favourite artists and makes their thing into his own.

I always felt that if the people who hate on Logic listened to his mixtapes they'd change their minds.
Happy to see Logic coming back. Vinyl Days was amazing, and I hope he keeps this quality.
I always get goosebumps on Till The End where he goes “if y’all fuck around and try to give the ball to another artist imma intercept, ITS MY TIME” like he was just hungry for it
Nah logic never hit his prime, dude quit way to early.
Keep going.

But his Young Sinatra-mixtapes are still his best body of work
Man hot take but supermarket was lowkey ⛽️
I think when people talk about logics albums they talk about how there is so many bad ones but in reality up tits and np are all like 9s everybody and ysiv are both like 7s and codm is weaker with a 6 and supermarket is more of a Bobby ball album then a logic one but I don’t think it’s bad just different then the young Sinatra and bt projects are all solid even though I would say bt3 is the outlier there ysiv prob a 8
