The spider one was confirmed to be a hoax (like 95% sure, could be wrong). Can't remember what video I watched about it, but I know that they showed the origins of the pictures and though the nest and spiders are real, the story behind the 4chan post isn't.

Mentioned this in the Discord, but for the face in the static it could potentially be a piracy calling card. Channel pirates are known to broadcast hard to make out images in static to show a channel is open for piracy, Pixels After Dark’s video on the face goes more into depth about this theory
I was on the /b/ board during the Lashua Birthday thread. It spread to other social media sites because /b/tards exported it in an attempt to make it the biggest they could and I don't remember seeing anyone say anything malicious about the man, the whole thing was simply because he was one of the last living WW2 vets. Not the only wholesome thing /b/ has done but was one of them I was there to witness.
Weird advice, but if you have a spider/bug problem. Spray diatomaceous earth in your house, you puff out the powder and its so fine it floats in the air then settles on the ground, and when little exoskeleton creature walk on it, it gets between their shell and kills them. Works like a charm, can't smell or taste it and it's invisible.
Nice advice! We just got some of that because we have a snail problem but as soon as spring hits spiders are going to be an issue and it's good to know it can also work.

Lived nearby in MA when William's birthday was being talked about, and I was happy to see the photos of what came of the post at the time and even had some local connections that confirmed the home he was in was super thankful for the interactions that extended to other residents during that party, everyone was thrilled to get things to talk about together afterward. Rest his soul, I'm glad 4chan did a solid on that one.

from what i remember, a few people on reddit recognized the tv static thing to be something hackers used to do in the 80s. they would hack into the tv signal and put up an image, whether it be to unsuspecting people or an indicator to other hackers. it was most often done to hotels tvs.

To my eyes, the spiders really didn't look like brown recluses. Too big, not reclusive enough. To me, they look like what arachnologists called, until very recently, tegenaria domestica spiders. Harmless spiders that run fast, weave funnel-shaped webs and get mistaken for brown recluses. Very beneficial spider to have around, if you're so lucky as to have them in your part of the world. But remember, this is spider planet and we're all just living in it. Spiders will always win in the end, so it's best to be friends with them and not antagonize them. Because at the end of the day, we need them more than they need us.
For the first one, maybe the TV was on an image for so long that it got burned into the screen - which affected the static. It may not have shown up on other channels due to the background, or bring too light to normally notice. Not sure if that's actually what happens, but just my thoughts
Not sure if it’s related but on old tvs with bunny ears if you were on a channel and the ears were positioned in a bad way then the image would be overlayed with static, could be similar to what’s happening here?

RIP Mr. Lashua. I will never forget how it felt to be a part of that. He was so much more than a war hero, he was a family hero. The man had principles and so much love. I just stayed at a motel north of Barrie, Ontario with a Samsung Tv. It has a service called Plus which was sort of like Netflix, the channels were entire seasons of tv shows. So I think the Plus part is exactly that -- not a Finnish or Nigerian channel.

Brown recluses are not as dangerous as they are made out to be and if kept clean the bite will not rot your arm off. That usually is attributed to staff infection that comes from improper care. Spiders can not be poisonous, they are venomous, as is anything that bites or stings.
