I used ECtune for a while now, will give it a try :) And yeah im the guy that still used a GSR manifold, its ported and moded and makes a awesome wide power band on a B18C with itr pistons and cams. I refuse to change it lol.

Just stumbled on this last night. Currently have a Crome Gold map loaded on my car. About to go load a HTS map on and see how it goes. I'm amazed at how many more features there are.
A lot of inspiration from Neptune RTP. I really love my Neptune RTP but the software is hella old. I hope I can try out HTS soon when I fire up my H2B turbo again 😎😎😎😎😎
Last time we spoke I was saying I wanted to turn you onto to ectune but now with HTS we have an even better solution. Between HTS and cobrartp people will find out you don't have to spend $500-1000 for obd1 tunable ecu setups.

I have a f20b same as a h22 but .2 liters shy and destroked ect. you know these motors im sure. And im in the middle of researching all of this beforw i make the move to order a laptop and emulater. Do we have support for the f20b dohc vtec motors?
I also have a boosted RD1! I've been tuning on crome for about 3 years now, before my CRV I had a 98 civic ex that I boosted, also on crome. It appears this software is everything I've been wishing crome would do. I plan to download HTS tonight and start building a new tune for my CRV. One thing I would like to see a video on, is building a tune for a boosted engine. It looks pretty straight forward, but a more in depth video on the ignition cut style launch control would be awesome. Also maybe a video showing the program in use, with the datalogging running would also be cool. Anyway, awesome stuff man! Just subscribed, can't wait to see more!

Thanks alot for this. I learned a good bit. I did find alot on my own with some perseverance. One good question is if you swap between 1 and 2 maps. Does that also switch perimeters as well. I.E. have a tune with popcorn or ignition cut and a mild tune with fuel cuts say for the wife that doesn't like the pops
You can install the popcorn mod on primary or secondary map. Or on both. And then use a input like AC, PS to switch between primary and secondary. That way you can have one tune with popcorn mod and one without
how come on my screen it doesnt show the flash option then when you click obd1 only have 4 options, Ectune baseroom, Beta ECtune baseroom, honda tuning suite legacy baseroom and honda tuning suite main baseroom? nothing else so i dont have the option to click on prototype baseroom, did i choose the wrong layout or whatever when i was starting?

I'm having a problem. If got the idle set and map set pretty good. Start fine when cold. Idles fine all the way up to full warm, but if I should the car off while warm and start it back up it idles like crap, it doesn't follow my fuel map at all. And suggestions?
Im having a lot of trouble getting my car to start with the ostrich. The hts program reads that it's connected to the p28 ecu, but it's not starting the car. When i plug in the stock ecu it starts fine but it only cranks with the p28. One of the data logs said to check if I have hts rom setup installed on the ecu but idk how to do that. Any help would be much appreciated
You have 3 little icons on the bar at the top of screen. 1st is download the rom FROM the emulator onto your pc, 2nd is Upload the rom TO the emulator from your pc, 3rd is to Verify the rom you just uploaded onto the emulator. Good luck!

I tune my car on open loop and later when i change to closed loop u see the wideband go to lean everywhere on the map should I start tuning on closed loop first or what I can do?
Is it worth going this route buying the ostrich 2.0 and data logger for around $200? Or are you better off buying Neptune rtp for 400 or Hondata for 500?

Is closed loop control using wideband and target lambda tables working on version 1.13? Doesn't seem to do anything for me... I've tried to get this working for a little while as it seems like a cool feature after tuning.
@@HondaTuningSuite Cool, sounds good. Everything else is in order as far as my wideband readings. And open loop runs pretty damn well- I just think it would be cool if it worked. Not sure if it is/was something I did or didn't do.
It works good. I got my b20 nice for a street tune. I mostly tuned for milage than power. Even though at full throttle my af is at 12.5. Lol. Im trying to do the close loop settings but my ostrich wasn't liking it so I'm gonna go back to the 1.14 rom and try again tomorrow
What exactly do you need aside from HTS software to tune a Honda and be able to street tune something and data log. Keep in mind I have no previous experience or tools/programs to tune with. Basically looking for a list of components to get started.
You would need an emulator of some sort, the newer emulators have datalogging built in like the cobraRTP or the Moates Demon. To tune other peoples cars after that you would need a chip burner to burn their tunes. that is essentially it. If you are just tuning your own car, buy a demon or cobra, and send it.
Very exciting. What would be required to have the PV1-A03 ECU from the Acura Vigor maps loaded into HTS? That ECU is a little different than typical Honda OBD1 ECUs, for a reference it's similar to the Acura Legend and NSX ECUs in construction and coding from what I've seen on PGM-FI.org. Honda Tuning Suite is an awesome attempt at tackling the free tuning software realm. But do people realize how many people refuse to use Facebook now because of their policies? It is so stupid to base the main information of a business or idea off a Facebook page in 2021. People are jumping off FB like the Titanic. While the apathetics hang around..
That’s what you get when you start developing and adding features. you can use the older version base roms and don’t have the bugs ;) it’s a choice to use the “PROTOTYPE” rom and test to see if it’s workable for you. But I’m sure these guys will have it fixed ASAP. But yes you can also stay on ectune if that gives you a stable base to work with.

Obd1 h22a with OBD2 tdc /ckp fires up flawlessly with dizzy fires with out distributor trying to manual tune switch coils around

I haven’t even gotten a chance to wire a wideband to use with this software yet. Plenty of guys using it so far with success though.

Yea you tune with the wideband then turn on correction after for the small stuff

Isn't it so weird how ectune worked flawlessly, but this "better" software based on ectune has so many bugs.
That's why the software is free my guy. Comes with complications that are being worked out.
