You don't have to read Cujo first to read Rattlesnakes. This is just a case of a minor character from Cujo wondering what he was doing in recent years.
Been debating about getting this, cause I do love mr king. I love his older work more than his newer stuff. I really appreciate your reviews, and have a feeling I'll be ordering this soon.❤❤❤
Oh, I agree that not everything needs to have horror. I love fantasy too so that wasn't my issue with it. I really liked the first 150ish pages, but once it went into the fairytale land it didn't hold my attention. I dunno I can't really explain it, it just felt very surface level with not much depth in my opinion. I'm glad that you loved it though!
@@BradProctorReads You know what, I agree with the fact that the first part of the story was the best, it's everything that King does best which is building real characters with depth and realistic personalities. I would love to see a short-story sometime writing about Mr. Bowditch's adventures down the well; and who didn't love Radar!
Cujo is absolutely terrifying, so far the scariest king book I’ve read outside of misery. I can’t wait to read rattlesnakes, been waiting a long time for this book
@@BradProctorReads the movie is awesome too, pretty accurate as well, but for me the book is still scarier, more brutal. Doesn’t seem like it would be, when it’s about a rabid dog, but the fact that the entire thing happens in real life is what makes it scary
Holly is very good. I hope you enjoy it when you get there. My copy of You Like It Darker should be in tomorrow. Can’t wait!
I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed Holly. I've liked all of the other books she's been in so far. Hope your copy arrives tomorrow!
Not certain I could read Cujo again (rattlesnakes). But I love King’s short stories more than his novels. I look forward to reading this book.
I haven't read a lot of his short story collections but I have really enjoyed the ones I have read.

Oh cool. Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks, Susan I appreciate it! I like his older stuff compared to his new new stuff. I hope this one harkens back to stories like in Night Shift.
I never got the hate Fairy Tale gets in the King scene, I loved it personally, not everything needs to have horror!

Last rung on the ladder. Haven't heard that one in a while. That was such a good story.
One his absolute best short stories in my opinion.
Did you like it??? ❤❤
Haven't started it yet but will be soon.
have recently stumbled on your videos. Just wanna say great videos and I would be happy if you make new videos on Stephen King
Thanks, I appreciate it! I'll get to making some new King videos soon.

I've never even seen the Cujo movie, though I've seen different clips of it. I'm going to read and watch it soon.

You could just watch cujo the movie 🍿
I definitely plan to. Gotta find where it is streaming.
Disagree, Billy summers was awesome. Holly and the outsider were really good. But I agree fairytale was just okay.
I really enjoyed the first half of Billy Summers more than the second half. Though I did love The Shining easter egg that was included.
Didn't enjoy Billy B or F Tale. Holly was better. Hope this one stands up.
Fairytale put me in a big reading slump that I don't know if I've ever fully gotten out of yet.
"Today should have been a national holiday" - YES! Yes indeed...I got my copy! 🎉❤📔🍿
Glad you got your copy too!
