I only saw the trailer; the whole thing, with beautiful actors in that house and that yellow cinematography, looked more like a magazine shoot than a horror movie. It felt too corny so I passed. That long pause in your intro ...... yep. Shades of LOST and the Dharma Initiative for me when they found the hidden trapdoor ... but then the reveal thereafter. No. Not very satisfying for me either.

I definitely had intrigue for this for a little bit but, it quickly wore off and the fantasy element wasn’t for me.
